    I'ed go for a 1/2unf logun silencer (40 quid) got one on my superten. when firing all i hear is the action? then projectile hitting the target.

  3. I got one a week ago for 20 quid 1981 woodwork needs attention but for the metal work in mint condition was told it had a service not so long ago, new spring, piston and seals, but it was a bargain? yeah im loving mine?

  8. i'll recondition the stock myself, also just ordered a .22 gas strut from theoben to drop its power and getting it working at 12 ft lbs
  9. ive just got an old hw80 for amazing price of 20 quid at a carboot sale, its 1981, stock is tatty but steal work is 100% in order. changed the breech seal ive got one trouble i chrono it at 10 shots, its running at 700, 698, 686, 701, 700, 696, 696, 698, 700, 700fps with aa 16.2 pellets so ive striped it down and now need to power it down to at least 470fps to get legal limit, just found out its got the full power spring fitted after reading there was three types, uk legal, high power, full power so soon i will post up pic of full rebuild and restore as for that its a loverly bargain

Yes, air rifles have come along way with the progressing technology, something new just around the corner, ive been at it for over 20yrs now and cant give it up, i remember my first rifle was my 22. mk1 bsa airsporter which i still have today. i wouldnt part with it after the history ive been told of what its done over the years off grandad, then i got a original 50 at the age of 12, used it till i was 17 loverly rifle woodworm stock rusty as a battle ship accurate and powerfull sold to my uncle who still use it today, then i got a tuned up .22 mk2 supersport. then sold when i was 20 then its been the same bsa superten ever since... there are a few more things but cant think of there names. so yes alot has changed over the years.

  14. i allways find .177 is over kill, when hunting rabbits thats why i allways go for .22 just for knock down.
  15. nice rifle those, like weihrauchpower says your best to get hw95k, ive just got a hw80 for 20 pounds s/h now its getting a full make over and a kiss of life with the theoben gas strut
  16. Well i use the deben tracer and just as good, its not the power in candle you need?, its the time of battery power, long as you get nice light at 30 yards its all you'll ever need

Go to the shop mate and buy a walnut whip? little choclate cone with a walnut top yeah pull it off eat the choclate lol, and rub the walnut in small circles over the scratches with a bit of presure you'll soon see the scratches fading out then rub over with a light clean cloth buffing the area i hopw this helps you allways works with me
