  11. I only had one farmers permission when i applied for my 22LR and my .17HMR.
  12. Hi all, im fast approaching 50 so thought id treat myself to a new scope for my .17HMR. I have been looking at a Schmidt & Bender 10 x 42 German Classic, though i have a few questions. Is a 10 X scope high enough magnification for a .17HMR and as this will be used at night is a non illuminated reticle ok for shooting under a lamp Thanks in advance. Barry.
  13. I was chattin to the guy who owns Country Sports just outside Irvinestown in Fermanagh, he was saying last year he could have phoned places in England and got good quality second hand stuff sent over...............not any more..........seems most people are hanging onto what they have..

    Hello............does anyone know if or where i can get extended, coloured coded chokes to fit a Beretta Silver Pigeon sporter ? as far as i can make out the existing chokes are "Mobile chokes" will any other Beretta choke fit Thanks in advance....Barry

Ive only been shooting about a year, i have asked three farmers for permission and they all said yes..........Now my problem is other farmers ASKING ME to shoot on their land, i just couldnt spread myself round them all, dont like to say no but sometimes i have to................things must be different in the corner of Ulster where i live :blink:

  23. I feel for you Marty, i really do but would you be of the same mind if it was your wife, daughter or sister killed ??. On the face of it, it would APPEAR (i say appear because nothing has been proven in a court of law) that this guy is a cold blooded murderer who either brought his gun with him or at least had to go to his gun safe and get it to commit this tragic act.
