i dont care to much about speed but sub .50 consistant groups and i'll be happy ish lol.my 6 br and 7 are stunningly accurate so sieng all that paper between hole was a shock but like you guys say factory rifle and ammo 1 moa is norm i guess. -

well i got up at 4am whilst the wind was 1-3 mph and shot some factory ammo.first 2 shots bang on where i left it last time but then things wondered.i suspect my rifle groups .25 high and .50 left of zero with a cold clean bore as i had to re zero.i was not blown away by accuracy as it was no better than hmr ammo but this is factory ammo in a factory rifle the whole point is to get the best out of it re loading.here is a pic of how it went and would like your thoughts.i did check barrel is free floated. mike -

i personally on what you have told us would be happy running below book with 8.5 of lil gun.if your chamber is a tiny bit tighter than there test rifle it would explain all.even if your calipers are 2 tho out things can change.i'm picking mine up next week and will be trying 1680 and lil gun with the 20's .thanks for sharing your findings as i too will start low after reading this.keep us posted -

behind the curtains in the dining room ,no one ever finds me

if the ground is compact and dry you will still get a riicochet off a 17 hmr yes but no were near as bad as a 22lr they bounce of anything and everything.i won't give a 22lr a space in my cabinet .the advantages of a hmr are endless imo straighter shooting meaning a bad range call at night is not as likely.better accuracy.more frangible..... that said a guy who really knows his 22 rimy on the right ground for one is a force to be reaconed with.

yep go with the stihl ms 170 loads of spares and a reliable saw for domestic use.
-
yep ran a ns 200 silly easy on the rabbits they still sit after the hmr crack alot of the time.makes a v good setup
-
run a ballistic comparison through a app and see what difference the wind drift is @300 with heavy and lighter bullets.
-
but if you see a 1 in 8 buy it.it will shoot the 50's but if you find yourself wanting to stretch it's legs further the the heavier high bc bullets are the ones to have imo oh and get a tikka.

any one not voting ukip come to me in leicester i'll change your mind without doubt.a quick tour round the mosque / streets and you will realise many of our cities are lost causes now .imigration is out of controll .every other party wants to save the world .ukip wants to save the uk
-
yep 8 shot ready you might be better weighing the pigeons in and donating the funds to the scouts but will see what i can sort . rabbits no good ? bad eyes dave might be able to smack one.with the amount of lead he sprays he is bound to hit one soon.

22 shorts are fine in trees .same ft lbs as fac air.177 can over penatrate without stopping a fac 22 air has the trajectory of a 177 with stopping power.the difference is big in hit rate and clean kills (in the right hands) go for it but buy second hand or take a big loss.
