Hi I have a couple of Fox tails that I would like to keep does anybody know what is the best way of doing them I remember a thread on here a year or so ago but can't find it I think it involved soaking in something for a couple of weeks A link or advice would be appreciated sf1

I have a m77 Hawkeye stainless and synthetic in .22250 i've had it for 2 1/2 years and short quite a bit of ammo through it without any problems. I like the three position safety which lets you unload on safe I did find after having it a little while The trigger was a little on the heavy side but I have now put a timny trigger in and I must say it has made quite a difference all in all I think it is a cracking little rifle regards sf1

Thanks dekers I bought a WMR about two months ago now i've been shooting 30 grain V-max. On rabbits and fox and found it to be a cracking little rifle I was just wondering what the difference between the WMR and the HMR was The chap in my local gunshop said with the 30 grain Vmax The WMR was similar to the HMR but I have never short an HMR regards sf1

Thanks all was just curious as to what the difference would be if it was worth the extra cash. I've been using The night master I have with the red Beam out to about 200 yards on Rinards with no problems so far so good

Has anybody got the 66 mil head on their torch? What difference does it make compared to the one supplied with the torch is it worth spending the extra money on? I have just bought the red pill for mine used to be an IR I must say what a fantastic little torch .just wondering if it makes any difference regards sf1

A lot depends on what you are willing to spend and may be something else to think about is weight if you are going to be walking you might not want a gun that is too heavy like a ball barrel i'm not going to say what I prefer because what I get on with you might not my advice to you is try as many as you can if you can. Ruger m77 CZ452/455 Savage there are many brands on the market all do pretty much the same pick something you're comfortable with and that you like and then you can't beat some trigger time good luck and be safe regardssf1
