You can get clear roofing silicone, worked a treat on the leak in my shed roof. Just make sure it's external grade.

On the expansion vessel, there is a valve (same as the ones on your car) press it and if water comes out you know it's full up, Should have a label on it with the correct pressures, both max and pre-charged pressure - Easy to top up with a foot pump, 2bar sounds about right, otherwise replace the vessel. But first try isolating the flow/return valves under the boiler after re-pressurising, leave it for a while with the boiler turned off and it will let you know if the boiler has an internal leak through the exchanger or if it's somewhere else on the system. If the PRV (Pressure relief valve) has discharged there will be water on the wall outside or if it's faulty maybe a drip.. Obviously, you should not remove the boiler covers for further investigation, have a look on the Gas Safe website and call around a couple of engineers, ask if anyone is happy to come have have a look without a call-out charge. Browning Grade 5 and Miroku Grade 5 are NOT the same.... not that I have seen anyway, the Miroku 5 is amazing! Ermmmmm Maybe I mis-understood him... He's offered an hour fit/shoot/chat on Friday - I will clarify.

Nice gun, easy to use, small recoil, tough as old boots - Sound investment.

The engraving is amazing on the 525 action and quite plain on the Miroku - It was his suggestion, I hadn't even thought about the bits being interchangeable.. Just basically making the gun I wanted from 3 others, can't imagine it's very cost effective for him or me, but I'll find out friday!

Had a long chat with my local gunsmith today - Looks like the best fit for me is a 525 Sporter/MK70 Sporter with a small adjustment bend to be done on the stock for a perfect fit. He then started talking about fitting my favourite Miroku MK38 Grade 6 wood to a Browning 525 prestige gun and Miroku Teagued 32" barrels, which would be "best choice" gun once the stock was bent........ Confusing! Just waiting for a price!
