  1. Please don't let me give my hard-earned to Fleebay fees?!?!?!??!? Price drop to £135 - Put this under your left arm & a new gun under the right arm and when the Mrs opens her mouth, just say I bought you this lovely drencher shower because you work hard and I love you, quietly pop the the gun in the cabinet.... She'll never notice!!!!! :D :D :D
  2. and send it recorded delivery, normal post, hand delivery with a witness and email a copy - Put in the letter that you are doing all of these methods.... they cannot claim they did not receive your letter. Good Luck!
  3. Write them a letter stating the issues you have experienced, mentioning the fact you have allowed them the opportunity on several occasions to rectify the problem, and say you expect the boss/owner to contact you immediately to arrange taking the gun back and giving a full refund. Inform them that as a minimum this must be done within 7 days or you will be forced to take further action, which may incur compensation and/or legal expenses to the gunshop.
  4. It seems like everyone's shooting dogs: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cornwall-17457088
  5. Good news. You have been very patient since 6 Nov, by that calculation, I'll have mine on 18th May - Who wants a wager?

    strange sign

I think this could be the answer. However, in times gone by, people who committed suicide and captured assassins were buried upside down, as a post-mortem punishment. Maybe the sign is an indication that she was buried upside down??
  7. Against 1: Glass fronted titanium "designer" buildings and new BMW's don't come cheap either...... Against 2: I spent the morning working for a solicitor and charged him £75, to which he complained it was expensive.... Outside was his £350,000 Maclaren Merc.
  8. Christ that's expensive!!!

  9. Well I thought I had a great shed.......... now I know my shed is rubbish!!!! Thanks a lot! :look:
  10. Legal/Moral issues aside, the dog owner may appear after you shot his dog and go at you with a knife or a solicitor or anything!!!
  11. Arrived safely, as described, quickly & well packaged. Thanks Paul. Dave.
  12. Too many choices........... I want one of everything!!!

    compost bin

I have one of these, mow the lawn once a week in the summer 5m x 10m and have never had to empty it or get rid of the grass elsewhere. This is a great buy!
  14. Hello guys, I have a Moretti shower drencher for sale - This is a top quality, high grade chrome finished shower. Unfortunately, my customer changed their mind and due to unforseen circumstances, I am unable to return it. B&Q currently sell it for £199: http://www.diy.com/nav/rooms/bathrooms/showering/showers/-brand-Moretti/Moretti-Acqua-Thermostatic-Bar-Mixer-Shower-Fixed-and-Flexi-with-Diverter-11867766 I have decided to let you guys have 1st chance to get this lovely shower at a steal of £145 (including paypal fees and P&P) I will do it a bit cheaper for a collection from Exeter, Devon. Don't hang about or I'll have to put it on FleeBay. Thanks for reading. Dave.
  15. I'm taller with a long fat neck....... Excellent, had a read & found out some stuff I didn't know like some of the sporter/game/trap models are the same weight.... So recoils won't change choice considerations etc Definitely, I just wanted something "special" without finding £15k under a stone (& not being able to shoot straight with it). I think the Miroku Gd5's are a bargain compared to other manufacturers - Browning's with similar wood start around £10 2nd hand!!!!!!!! :o and the Beretta's aren't far behind.... I have found a lovely DT10 EELL Sporter at York Guns for £11700.... again, where's that stone??
  16. But every phone call I make takes a pen off the paper and a hand off the keyboard which delays everyone!!!! Maybe I should just forget about it......... on the bright side, my gun budget gets bigger every month!!
  17. OK, so what's the difference between a MK 38 sporter and a MK 70?
  18. I'm approaching 3 months already and probably not halfway yet.....
  19. The 725 tested was a Sporter with the orange decal & palm swell (which is quite nice)
  20. I did find a good condition B25 for sale at £1800 which is a consideration I ordered one a couple of months ago, it arrived, I didn't like it, feel/fit was wrong. Gutted really as I was sold on it following the pre-release reviews.
  21. This was my thought as well. Would have been nice to have been told 6 months from day one without sifting through the post everyday for months, just for disappointment. Surely, they know how many people have licences, their expiry dates, and from renewal invitations the expected workload coming in for each month?? I just feel sorry for the people who are having to send their guns away for storage or face criminal charges because of a mis-calculation of staff/workload.
  22. Told licence application would be 4-6 weeks, after that time told it would be another 4 weeks or so more..... No reply to my email, don't answer the phone very often, finally got through and was told I'd wait at least another 2 or 3 months!!!!!!!! Just wondering if someone else has had success speeding things up!
