  1. Just set mine up online and got a £5 discount - Only took 5 mins and they accept Paypal too.
  2. You guys need to watch "Super-Size Me" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0390521/ This bloke lives on nothing but McDonalds meals for a month. He also leaves the burgers out for a mould test and records the growth progress, I think it's the fries that are immune to months sitting on the side.
  3. Last week in Exeter I got £120 for mixed "light Iron" Half a van full for £26, gutted, but it was better that taking it to the tip and getting nothing.
  4. Are you free Wed afternoon for some clays?

  5. Well that I did not know, learn something everyday. Is the root wood different in some way?
  6. I guess, can only use the wood once, different tree = different wood
  7. Browning claim that they have improved the balance (But I guess they would as they are trying to sell them) and the wood comes standard as a Grade 2.5.

    Pattern Size

Found this and thought of you: http://www.kwacs.org.uk/barrels&choke.htm
  9. Well I'm pleased loads of you guys don't like the look of it makes it all the more exclusive to me, just a bit more interested in the handling/feel/shooting, but I guess we'll have to wait for that........ Would be counting down the days. Unfortunately, I cannot start the count as I don't know when it's due...
  10. Stock cover with 5 cartridge loops glued on....
  11. Hello, you'll have to give me a bit to get used to this forum thing.... My name's Dave from Exeter just getting back into shooting after a 10yr break, joined up the forum for some advice and to find some shooting buddies.

    chat soon,

    Dave.

  12. It's rrp is a few pounds under £1900 - I was offered 7.5% off to pre-order. I really liked the Fabarm Axis Sporter (Yes, I like unusual looks) but lost my bottle....... Torn to be honest, guess will just have to wait and see how it is in the hand. Supposed to be a more balanced, easier gun to use than the 525.
  13. Good advice - Top skills. Always makes me happy to see/hear good advice especially as some so-called engineers are still incompetent or lazy in their work. But hey, they are the ones who keep me in business correcting their work. Just a tiny point to add and probably going to get me shouted at, but check 1st that the radiator you have got is fully turned up/rad valves not blocked..... could save some time and £. Dave.
  14. I have been waiting what seems like my entire life for a new gun, finally decided on a Browning 525 Sporter 30" Multi, just be be told that the 725 range was coming out mid-Jan. We have now passed mid-Jan and my dealer told me the gun would arrive mid-Feb. The Browning 725 Sporter S1 apparently has 2.5 Graded wood as standard, but I am also struggling to get a match-up for this with other manufacturers, obviously, there are a lot of competitively priced Brownin....sorry Miroku 38/70's out these with super 3-5 wood. Does anyone know of a dealer anywhere that has a 725? or a review online somewhere? I cannot find any decent info on them yet, even Browning's .com has limited info. Would be nice to have compare options (although I have placed a deposit on the 725 as they are only getting 5 for stock and 1 is sold already) Any help would be good, especially from 525 Sporter owners. Cheers, Dave.

    Plumbing question.

Don't forget to bury the pipe a min of 750mm and not exceeding 1350mm for frost protection & regs. ;-)
  17. I think the whole of Devon is waiting on a Shotgun Certificate to arrive through the post, there must be a backlog. I would be interested in finding a shooting buddy - Based nr Exeter. Cheers, Dave.
