Bought a pair of "Champion" electronic ear defenders - Ebay approx £33 inc P&P Just wanted to say they are very good, bit crackly at high volume, but to be honest you could listen in to private conversations 50 yards away at that level. Disappeared when turned down a bit & even good in driving rain. Used all afternoon with no discomfort felt. Result!

Everyone is forgetting that £26k benefits is "take home" pay - They are proposing £26k in benefits cap, which means a working person whom pays Income tax, NI & Pension contributions would ACTUALLY need to earn nearer £35k to get the same £ to spend as a "supported person" on the £26k cap........

Had my SGC interview tonight and I asked if they needed to speak to the wife and the officer said "No, why would I need to?"
