  3. I shed a tear when I put a heel through my 20yr old Royal Hunters the last time I tried to put them on, Id had them restudded 3 times in their lives.

They had survived everything from puppies to barbed wire and just expired due to old age, I wanted to keep the good one in case the other one of the new pair went the same way ;) But I will probably expire before these do and Mrs D said she was fed up with me hording (she doesnt understand the shed way of thinking). But ive tucked it away just in case... oneday

It suprises me when alot of people tell me they have never owned a pair of wellies, young people seem to wear trainers just about anywhere and everywhere.

"I was about ten before I could tie my own laces", ahhh conjures up an image of a helpless, innocent little girl :good:, THEN she grew up..... dont be fooled lads :exclamation: ..... Mrs S would probably eat you alive, then come back for more :yp:

I dont know what the answer is to the long winter nights but I do know that you wont be on your own for long, kids grow up faster than you would think poss and the problem then becomes trying to find some time alone for yourself because the little b8ggers just wont go to bed, enjoy it while it lasts.

  10. first two of the season <_<

Its good that the season has finally arrived but they do look more like sparrows, why not give them a little longer, they will still be there and will imo provide better sport by being stronger fliers and eat better having lived off the land awhile longer.

(They need a bit of fat on them to stop them drying out in the oven, lip smacking noises.. )

The other aspect to be considered surely is that showing pictures of shot immature birds plays into the hands of the antis.

    D2D

  11. Why dont we stick signs up around the UK which say:

    TWINNED WITH ISLAM

Or better yet rename the UK..... Islam, all the Muslims seem to be coming over to the UK, why dont they go back where they came from, that way they dont have to change all these laws :good::/

But isnt that exactly what they are attempting to do, and apparently have already established exclusive areas in some parts of the larger cities  , The words Great Britain rarely appear nowadays, even dropped off most multi language instructions on the goods we buy in favour of the letter E (English) instead of GB or UK.

    :good: D2D

PS its tipping it down and has been all morning..... the rainy season on the Costa del Kent.:lol:

  12. Managers at Sainsbury,s stores have given the ok to muslim checkout workers to refuse to serve customers who wish to buy alcohol ! ! This is not a wind up, Any customer who is going through with shopping which contains alcohol, must wait while a non muslim check out worker takes over, You might not believe me but this country really has sunk to new depths. I GIVE IN..( have just read that even the head of the muslim council of Britain has said that it is wrong. to give this permision to islamic workers). White P C management wallies rule What a load of B-----ds OK? Yah.

DONT GIVE IN, YOU ARE THE COUNTRYS ANCHORMAN, OUR ONLY HOPE......... THE LAST BASTION blah blah :good:

Seriously though is that for real? Is this every branch of Sainsburys, I wonder if it will make the papers?

    :good: D2D

  13. Well i have got myself some horse hoof trimmings, so will proceed in boiling up the stuff shortly. need to find a pan i can ruin first though.

Oh and is it adviseable to do it out side? or can inside do?

    :good:

FB do it outside or the stink will fill your house all weekend :) It only needs an hours fastish boil and top up as needed,

    good luck it does work.

    :) D2D

  14. you need to make sure they are upstairs before you can hit them,if not hit them and then drag em up there - if you know what i mean :)

Never mind where they are as long as they are not "found" later on your property, Roadkill comes to mind :)

Wishfull thinking, I hope they eventually pass an act that allows you to protect your family and property using any means at your disposal.

The best deterrant at the moment still appears to be a Dobie/Rotti or better still a pair.
