Owls lodge shooting school and Mickley hall have midweek reg shoots. However there is a north south devide in the people who attend midweek shoots due to work and more disposable time by the looks of things.

For me personally I'd choose a person who's been there got the t shirt and bought home the silverware.

There's not that much going on I think at the end of January. The only 2 clubs I can think of that have comps on are Fauxdegla shooting ground which is mostly a trap discipline of some sort, and Catton hall shooting ground which has a registered 100 bird comp near the end of the month, both if those clubs are within easy reach of Liverpool area. Check those clubs out to find out more. Unless you travel quite a few hours more further down the country you may find more choice.

Shoot a few reg esp shoots at different clubs then you'll see your average.

I'm assuming this is just a 50 bird practise. If so it's different from a reg esp comp as there's no comparison.

The lady in your village store is absolutely correct, the AK47 £5 polymer note was fetching over 10 times its face value. However that was about 4 weeks ago when there was a frenzied bidding wars on eBay. There worth just a fiver now..
