  1. well I invested in a combro and guess what with bissy pest control 18.68 ftlbs? what the **** is that about! talk about a close shave he said it mite be a little bit out but that had 5years in clink written all over it. its now putting out 11.2 with AA field , and the combro was the best £45 iv ever spent
  2. me and the wife had a 12 plate 1.4 dsg simply put it was the biggest pile of **** we have ever had the misfortune to own / drive keep breaking down in put simply I would rather eat broken light bulbs than ever own or have to deal with vw ever again
  3. no it's holding full charge that's the problem I have a nasty feeling it's way over power the guy at xtx air set the reg to 90bar but said that thay are very fragile and just taking them in and out of a gun can upset the power out put
  4. its abit of a ****** realy as I was up for going out with the lamp tonight but think I mite give it a miss if I take it to a shop to be checked will I get it back/ how do I go about getting it back if it's over powered
  5. hi all had my bsa ultra reg resealed and sent back through the post by xtx, gun is working fine but the the shot count is only 44 before it tails off badly. I'm sure I used to get at least 60+ from a 232bar fill the gun also sounds a lot louder than be for. I haven't got a chrony but is it worth getting it checked in case some thing is a miss?
  6. I use there competition loads on pigeons as there 1/2 a size bigger than English sizes the 24g is good for squirrels out of the dray
  7. go for a single shot full length moded gun there much quieter than the slip on if you look around you can find the pidretti modles s/hand for £150ish
  8. good shooting chap. I'v got the single shot 12g and over the years it's become my go to gun every time I go out making my over and unders and semi auto almost redundant the more you use it the better you will become it took me almost 6 months and a lot of persevering to master the hang of swinging round what felt like a length of drain pipe. the best advice is to get out and keep practicing
  9. 70mm or 65mm case where In Norfolk are you please
  10. guys could I use a 410/20g chamber adapter in my 12g husher so as not to pee the wife off and buy another gun? reason being a new perm for tree rats and I think the 410 will be more suited to the job than my air rifle
  11. my bsa ultra loses pressure from full charge to about half charge if not used for 3 or 4 of weeks is this normal or do I have a very slow leak it is regulated so full charge is 230bar, also how do I find out whos regulator is in the gun as I brought it 2nd hand about 5yrs ago [ this is the longest the gun has ever sat up with out being used] any info is much obliged
  12. I have the same problem , it seams the more I shoot the more reappear I have heard people say that by shooting to many you can create a vacuum effect witch can draw them in from other areas as space becomes vacant in the woods you shoot them from. I think they bread from over winter
  13. I only use 1/2 choke but I tend not to shoot further than 30ish yards over decoys
  14. if you can hit them out at 50/60yards then by all means do so I personally don't think I have the capability to do so, I stick with what I'm comfortable with the closer the better and an absolute max of 40 yards any further out and I shuffle the pattern about tills thay come closer
  15. I use a jrc 60inch oval with the storm poles on the ends rather than in the middle positions that way you only need 2 short poles= less to lug around
  16. I find 2 wall plugs in the pockets and piano wire cut to the right length gives an even more realistic flapping than the rods supplied
  17. getting shot of the terrios coz its just to small to get the carp gear in thinking of a kia sorento any body have one/any views on what there like off road as a shoot vehicle looking at 03-06 thanks

  19. 2 1/2 inch = 65mm 67.5 should not make a hatstand jam 65mm will, try some express pigeon not so very specials and they will drive you crazy with double load jams
  20. the best time iv found to go is later in the afternoon when its cooling down but then by 730pm they seem to disappear any way so im only getting 2 1/2 - 2 hours shooting but have still managed 22 witch for this time of year is **** plus I have noticed there more interested in fields that are being combined than those that are finished or bailed and cleared hope this helps
  21. funny you should say that coz I am too, loads on the fields but they seem to not want to stay or are not interested in being decoyed and im on barley stubble and rape
