  7. I have had all 3, They will all do a reasonable job, it depends on how serious you want to off road.. Be carefull with the Mercedes, some are fitted with 275/55/17 on very wide rims, very difficult to get anything decent tyres wise for the muddy stuff.. An parts are expensive. The Jeep is reasonable, de-value like a lead ballon, but easy to do most of the maintaince yourself bit thursty though. Shogun .. Good reliable and solid not as refined as the Merc, it takes top honors there or the Jeep, but better off road, will hold it's value a bit better than the jeep too. just my thoughts
  8. I am told the reason the MoD have brought this stupid certification in is because the danger area behind the targets is shared with the MoD ranges and can therefore enforce the same certification that is required for a civilian to shoot on a military range. There is a chance that a .308/7.62 could reach the M3 in perfect conditions and launched over the butts at the right angle (not sure if that is true but that's the scare story they give anyway). So when I questioned why then do you need to be signed off for a .22 semi-auto, but not a single shot .22 target rifle? Still waiting for an answer!
  9. I wish you had posted this yeaterday, just dropped the shottie of for a service as the trigger was sticking one in every 40-50 shots on the second barrel... I can't believe I have just added to the list of excuses :look: Deffo up for it in the future should the oppotunity arrive mate ...
  10. I have the extra deep 5 slot brattonsound cabinet with lock top, good quality safe, and as everyone has already said, you'll be suprised how quickly you fill it, mine has 3 shotguns and 4 rifles ... (Yes with a bit of creativity you can get 7 in), The lock top swallows a huge amount of section 1 ammo too..
