    Citizen army

Sounds like Trumps recent speech proposing dictatorship and immunity.

    Citizen army

    🤣 Love it. 👍

I don't think that's such a bad idea. Citizenship after say a couple of years qualifying service would be handy. 🙂

    Battery

Never had a starter motor go in the last 10 years of cars all with stop start. The starter motors are designed for the job of course. The battery was the first I had to buy but given its a 16 plate I dont think that's so bad for a first battery. Maybe I am lucky driving mostly Japanese cars that said even the flaky Audi and Land Rovers have been good. The data above suggests otherwise on the fuel savings. Progress is tough for some but each to there own.
  5. My wife's Audi has gone up 40% in price year to year for no obvious reason other than a renewal. When I upped the mileage on my Honda it made no difference to the premium (Churchill).
  6. @Rewulf That is unbelievable. Very hard to watch. I would have told them to go forth. That cop needs some retraining. I hope complaints are flooding into the police about there approach. The sooner people here start to sanction China the better. No to Volvo cars, MG, BDV(or whatever it is) and anything else. It's not perfect but its a start. Why they are not under sanction god only knows ( i know there is a huge cost) but we have to start to pull the purchasing strings or do we wait until our semi conductor plants are bombed?
  7. Surely its more a reaction to the concern of livestock eating the plas wads? All of the farms I shoot insist on no plas wads.

    Really?

My teeth chose the last two years to suddenly fall apart for some reason. Must be all the Haribo's i ate? 🤣 Its become seriously expensive.
  9. These things are all a bit a a mystery if you have not been through the process. Good luck. It's sad when families fall out over this sort of stuff. Regardless, I would be looking to see if that will is public, it might aid your discussion.
  10. I never knew that. Are wills public when someone dies?
  11. All sounds good for the shooting its a shame that the poor diet being encouraged is likely to lead to health conditions later. 🤣
  12. This ^^^^ Hopefully MI something is on the case. There is no room for superstition in politics. Unfortunately even the US is rife with it. That said its all less worrying than the knife carrying youth wandering our streets.
  13. Wow that's a tough one. She will need to produce the will. If she destroys it you are entitled to an equal share with all next of kin. I think you need legal advice. I guess you start with CAB or go straight to a solicitor.

    Really?

Porcelain crowns are not normally NHS or implants. Appointments, clean and polish times are minimal. ?
  15. That's good to know. So why are we complaining?

    Really?

I think if there is NHS you only get very basic treatment and you still pay a significant portion of that? Here there is no NHS except for kids.
  17. I have been following a story in Slovakia where a poacher (wolf hunter) has been appointed as head of one of the largest National Parks in the Country. At the same time the new committee chair for the country's Covid enquiry is an antivaxxer. Simply insane. Then i see this 🤣 David Frost, the influential Conservative peer who has been criticised for claiming that rising global temperatures could be beneficial to the UK, is being appointed to a key parliamentary committee on the climate crisis.
  18. I don't know anywhere or anyone that has gone down this route. Most will opt for non plastic wads and that's about as far as it gets.

    Battery

Possible i guess but not so good over 20 -30 locations on and off road, add in a sprinkling of mud and water and its not so practical.

5% to 7% saving in fuel economy according to the american AA and upto 15% saving according to others. It's also the saving in pollution whilst stopped. My mum struggles with the system on her car as she cannot anticipate switch off with the brake so is easily caught out.

    Battery

The one thing I would like to turn off is the DRL's. Local garage refused to install a switch to do it. Hunting at night it's not helpful.
