  1. I have one of these in 3 1/2, and I'm a big fan, I'm after some advise, are there any aftermarket type chokes that will fit these,? I can't seem to get any useful info from there site, second question: will two chokes actually sit beside each other when extended from the barrel of a side by side such as this.?

  11. I have the prologic jacket and sallopets, the jacket was awful at keeping the rain out, leaked within a month. The sallopets were better, just started leaking last week after 4 seasons.
  12. Your not joking on the price of the longshoreman, 400 plus.
  13. I had a look on the duck dri website, doesn't give alot of info, none of them seem that suitable for fowling. Hard to tell from the pictures.
  14. Now that the season is nearly over, how have your new fowling coats been, especially with the wet weather, I'm in desperate need for a new fowling/ stalking jacket, must be 100% waterproof and silent when stalking, I like the look of the Ridgeline monsoon but it's a tad pricey. Any recommendations?
  15. Fairly rubbish season down here in the westcountry with regards to ducks, too much flooding pretty much killed the foreshore shooting although the lads on the inland marshes did alot better, flooding also prevented me from accessing the foreshore for about 3 weeks, As for geese( Canada's) , plenty around if you wanted to get under them it wasn't too difficult, I personally don't bother chasing them, I guess if I wanted to I could of shot 4 X as many as I have
  16. Do any of you own one of these and what do you think of them.
  17. Sadly I couldn't get on with mine, went back to using sxs, still it never let me dowe.
  18. They were indeed fantastic guns and yes the factory 1/2 was all that was needed all though I always used the full choke, due to the over bored barrel it patterned well with 3:1/2 t shot. I changed the mag on mine and my uncles and neither would take 3 x 3inch in the mag but they would take 3x 2/34 which alot of 3:1/2 mag's would at the time. The two that we owned came over with the first import so might have been crimped differently
  19. They just unscrew, I know of at least 5 of them and all of them were crimped short so we just unscrewed and turned around, they can be hard to unscrew though.
  20. Tell him to unscrew the mag if he's buying it and turn it around, should then take 2 3:1/2 carts, they were crimped for 3 inch as when they came into the country there was no such thing as 3:1/2, I did this to mine and it was fine.
  21. How much use have they had?
  22. If you still have the 270 dies then I would be interested
  23. Just fired my first eley lightning at a 40 yard shoveler, the stuff works,
