  12. Morning all, twice a year I head north in search of pinks, now I've had my fair share of luck so now I fancy doing something different for one of those weeks, I've not had a great deal of luck with greylag so I'd like to change that and possibly somewhere in England. I'm thinking of using the basc permit scheme to do so, so my question is where abouts in England should I go for the best chance of getting under a grey or two? Cheers Ross

  18. Whitefront, goldeneye and pochard, I don't think the whitefront is achieveable but the other two are a possibility at some point,
  19. I would love to get under a skein of whitefronts but on a more realistic front I would be happy to get a greylag, a bit thin on the ground locally so probably won't happen.
  20. A blank for me, tide pushed me back into the reeds so called it a day early and watched the rest of the flight from the bank, nothing much moving. Nice to be out though, dogs enjoyed there selves.
  21. Cheers for that guzzicat, just what I needed. Many thanks Ross
  22. Fairly certain, used my digital fishing scales, might be ounce or so adrift but nothing major. It's stupidly light really, very punishing.
  23. Yilditz weighed in at 5lb 3 oz, no wonder it kicks.
