  1. Dog coats insulate, both from cold and heat. Think Africa Lions etc. Best advise I can give is tell your pouch not to sunbathe during the day and not to run around like a dervish everytime you put your boots on! Other top tips, let sleeping dogs lie during the hottest part of the day as they naturaly do when it's a wee bit warm.
  2. Went to the CLA this year and couldn't find them. Mind you CLA is huge and it was very hot to say the least. A1 can you let us know where your tent is next year at the CLA Thanks
  3. There is a removal company in Apsley, can't remember there name...doh, but always see their vans around, do a google search for removal firms in apsley
  4. LOL: Get their Angus loyalty card and they will match the lowest mighty internet. Worth a visit..don't stock everthing but really good range and proper dealers too so can get what you want also website is now longer .com but .co.uk .com is for some reason in $
  5. Give Rugged & Tough a call, They are proper dealers for Seeland and Harkila. I bet they will sort your missus wellies. They prefer to know they sold them, but will do their best to ensure that you are sorted with Seeland.
  6. Home Sweet Home Glad to see that the Sun kept off, can ruin a great weekend Great pictures, love them!
  7. Try Rugged & Tough, a mini version of Cabelas. They have a huge store based in Bedfordshire between Dunstable and Milton Keynes. Big Store lots of "Big Boys Kit" They do a mix of top end work gear and sell Harkila, Seeland and Jack Pike. Not seen a range like it in the UK anywhere http://www.ruggedtough.co.uk We love this place, the closest you will get in the UK
  8. Depends on what the finish is and what the wood is. Harsh removers may damage the wood and raise the grain. If they are french polished with Shellac, try a little Meths, this will disolve the laquer and allow it to be removed safely. Test a small area first Hope this helps
  9. Try the Michelle Thomas course. Really good, no books, writing stuff down etc He starts with simple words and then builds up sentences. Really good basic introduction over what was 6 Cassettes, but now I guess you can download the course. Hope it helps.
  10. Reply to Olliesims: Wear Acifort Wellies for farming, not leather boots, the muck rots them in no time at all. Don't wear rubber wellies either, it also rots them.
  11. Yep, They are almost sold out in most sizes by the look of it Rugged & Tough have a blog about wellingtons boots, worth a read.
  12. Loads of great advice, only thing to add, make a written note of all the tips, tick them off so you need to pinpoint where the problem is first and foremost. Start with the stupid obvious stuff first: Can you hit static objects as different distances, then work out through your list of possible problems.
  13. Get down to your local Gun Club, spend some time participating and get to know the other members. Knocking on doors etc is a waste of time. Ask at your local gunsmith if you don't know any clubs, they will point you in the right direction.
  14. Excellent value for money and well made. Try & Buy in a store if you can so if you have problems, not that you will, you can get it sorted quickly Jack Pyke have an excellent returns policy from my understanding.
  15. It's Harkila, what more can you add.... Yes, if they have been washed in bio powder, forget them, as the bio powder destroys the taping of the seams, also conditioner blocks the pores in Goretex
