I agree with you, however to do so will be quite the undertaking in a time where we hear of spending cuts etc. let alone time is pressing and the threat is present now. On top of equipping all police officers with firearms there would no doubt be refresher training, psychological testing etc. Maybe this is what it will come to if there are any more terrible incidents like this.

I thought that they were arming some officers? Witnesses reported a delay of 10-15 minutes which seems awful long, given of what I remember of London where there seemed to be an officer on every street corner. Having said that, it was quite some time ago.

Not sure of the condition of the other two people who were also injured. The one who got slashed across the neck seems to be in a serious but non life threatening condition.

I've been trying to track down the name of a film I seen a number of years ago without success. I believe the plot focused around a woman who ended up in a chalet with older strangers, some of whom had domineering personalities. The twist comes when we find out that the woman had been cryogenically frozen so that when medicine had evolved enough she could be cured. It turns out that the woman was later unthawed as a cure had been found, and she recognized that the people she had been talking to in the chalet were fellow cryogenically frozen roommates if you will. All had been able to somehow bring their minds together as if to feel they were actually living somewhere. To top it off I think they thought it was winter outside. I don't think it was anything like the twilight zone but stand to be corrected. Anyone remember seeing such a film or am I losing the plot?

Was just reading a story in one of your tabloids where a mother of two was killed by a maniac thrusting a bottle into her neck after she tried diffusing a situation. A very sad state of affairs and will likely continue until judges become elected and the death penalty is reinstated.

It seems poor Corbyn wasn't told of the queue when common sense was being handed out. I'm sure whatever he is on if he could sell it he would make a million - never seen someone so detached from reality. He would be better off retiring to the allotment where he could talk to the vegetables and cause no harm.
