  1. Make yourself more fun than what he is pulling to (easier said than done!) Being at your side wants to be the more interesting option, use daft noises, food, toys (rabbit skin balls are great for getting their attention). Also remember that a slip lead should be used for correction, not restraint, slack all the time unless you are correcting the dog, otherwise just put a normal collar/lead on. Like Bigbird said take the time to show him.
  2. Adrian Flux and Gladiator have always been the best prices for mine.

    Work boots

Mate at work has the screwfix ones (ground worker) and they have out lasted my Buckler ones, got some myself but don't reckon there as comfy tho.
  4. As said above just keep them topped up. Recently gone down the pcp and handpump route. Its only a few minutes work.

    Tiling advice needed

Mapei shower waterproofing kit from screwfix £50 .
  6. Ford ranger with an canopy on the back. Reliable and cheap parts, plenty of room for gear without messing up the inside. 4k should get you a tidy one.
  7. In north west costs around £35per metre, thats base and top coat (70mm) providing all the prep work has been done.
  8. I'd go for a second hand bike. Try classifieds of a mtb magazine/ forum, also bike hire shops ( the ones in forests/activity centres). For your price range if you go the new route try and stick to good quality basics i.e good 'u' brakes over cheap discs brakes etc. Good luck in your search.
  9. Thanks. Can you recommend a stain remover to try and lift them.
  10. Stripped it with nitromors. Sanding hasnt made much difference .Was thinking it was a reaction with the wire wool, but I used a toothbrush on the chequering so theres no reason for it to be on the chequering aswell. Thanks for the help so far.
  11. Evening all. I have just stripped the factory poly finish on the wife's 686 onyx, and there are lots of little dark spots almost like it has been dabbed by a marker pen or mildew. Are these normal or is there a way to remove them? (Or do i have to get her a new shotgun!!) I have previously stripped and oiled my own stock with good results and have used the same process. Thanks for your time.
  12. Just a quick hello. Started clay shooting a few months back, and have found this site and the forums a great help, from where to shoot to information on equipment.
