Was googleing shotguns for sale and this was on the list. Had a flick through and its a great forum so signed up and stuck around!

Such gorgeous dogs as well, my favourite and I endeavour to have one one day. Such a shame. We trust our Labrador far too much around our kids. I can never imagine her hurting anyone as shes so gentle but you can never be so sure. I may get flamed for this but I think a lot has to do with the owners and not the dogs. Yes some breeds are more susceptible to aggression than others but I do believe its mainly the owner. It doesn't help that people use dogs as a status symbol like the Staffordshire bull terrier!

Surname is Brooks so it was natural everyone called me Brooksy. 789 was a random number I used once and its stuck ever since. I use it for every forum I join and its my xbox gamertag.

Well done mate that's a good bag! My best is 3 along with a couple of squirrels. I tend to scare most pigeons away as they seem to be able to see me from 100 yards away!

Its well within budget and may not be as powerful as you may want but what about a Mondeo ST TDCi? 155bhp but really torquey being diesel. Failing that a proper Mondeo ST220 with the 3.0 V6 but not many mpg lol. I have a soft spot for these cars and would love a V6 ST220, they have an awesome engine/exhaust note!

It seems they do all sorts. Prison staff/transport, security guards, cash machines, and now it seems firearms licensing also! You name it they probably do it!

Nope disclosed everything right down to speeding fines. Never had any run ins with the law or a criminal conviction. Area is a good area and were in a brand new house first owners. Suppose ill find out tomorrow. Cant think of anything at all it could be as ive been 100% open and honest

Hi all, I've just contacted Nottinghamshire Police HQ as I haven't heard a whisper about my application for 6 weeks since I put it in. The lovely lady on the end of the phone said my application is with the Sargent and she wasn't sure why it would be? The Sargent isnt back in until tomorrow so advised me to contact her then. Should I be worried? The way the lady said it was with the Sargent and she wasnt sure why slightly concerned me. Its going it be a long few hours until tomorrow when I can ring and actually get an answer! Hopefully its nothing bad. Matt

Nope not a whisper from them, I was putting it down to Christmas and New Year and being a back log of applications and renewals. Might ring them later and politely chase them up

Hello all, My names Matt and im 25 from Ravenshead in Nottingham (for any of you local boys and girls ) I've been into shooting for a couple of years now and have been shooting air rifles in that time. I currently have a BSA Lightning in .22 flavour that is my first and currently only gun. I've always wanted to shoot but parents would never let me have an air rifle so once I left home I took the plunge! Always wanted to get into shotguns and clay shooting but never really had the courage to do it! After a clay pigeon shooting day bought for me by my mrs I finally put my shotgun application in on 10th Jan this year but im still waiting! I haven't heard a peep since and its killing me! 6 weeks is a long time to still not hear anything! all I can do at the minute is window shop for shotguns and hope and pray they're still there when I get my license. I have most of my accessories ready, all im waiting on is the bit of paper that says im legally aloud to own a shotgun. That aside im looking to shoot at Cockett Farm as my local ground but always willing to travel around and shoot different places. Anyone have any experience with Cockett Farm? what's it like there? Hopefully I can find a few other local ladies and gents to go shooting with and hopefully teach me a few new things and push me in the right direction to becoming a better shooter in this awesome sport!
