  1. 250 is a good haul. I take a few out a month at my partners grandparents farm. Everytime i think im on top of it more and more just appear! Edit: I say farm its 17 acres of land for horses and nothing else!
  2. God i get put to shame. Im always up for trying most things once. Buffalo is nice, tastes a little like venison. Tried kangaroo but wasn't keen on that. Swordfish is very nice. I used to love cockels as a kid but couldn't bear them in my mouth now. A lot of insects are meant to be nice and would quite like to try them as something different.
  3. I've always wondered how to become a pilot or train driver or similar. We all know how to get lessons to learn to drive a car but never a plane/train etc. I'd love to become a pilot, sadly i'd need to remortage or more to fund it :(
  4. You can get templates online where you just fill in the gaps. Some arnt the best but this is what i used and never had any problems getting jobs.
  5. Looks good, what platform is it on? There a few on Android that are pretty good, namely Deer Hunter 2014 by GLU.
  6. That puts my cornea transplant to shame!
  7. A snippet from Wikipedia (i take it with a pinch of salt) Season 6 On October 7, 2014, AMC announced that it had renewed the show for a sixth season, with Scott M. Gimple to continue as showrunner.[12] Future seasons Executive producer David Alpert said the original comics have given them enough ideas for Rick Grimes and company over the next seven years. "I happen to love working from source material, specifically because we have a pretty good idea of what Season 10 is gonna be," Alpert said. "We know where seasons 11 and 12 [will be]... we have benchmarks and milestones for those seasons if we're lucky enough to get there."[22]
  8. Fair play i never really thought of it this way. I just thought if it was me being accused of the same thing i'd be doing everything in my means to help the police and proove my innocence. When they had found the box to the "dirty" mobile in his bedroom and then cellsited that phone being used right up untill midnight before the attempted murder in his house i was thinking "mate you've fo0k3d it!" Even his body language was soooo nervous when more and more evidense was coming towards him that i thought he has to be guilty there no two ways about it!
  9. We went to Emergency Response Day at Newstead Abbey Nottingham a few months back now and 2 armed response officers where there having talks with members of public about what they do etc. His had it boot down on his Land Rover DIscovery Armed Response car with his H&K MP5 sat there. I got talking to him and he said he has no interest in firearms outside of work and that it's "just a job" to him. Sacry really. He did say though he has to do a test every 6 months and ongoing training and if he fails at any point he can no longer be an armed responce officer.
  10. Is this not season 3? I've just watched the first episode of season 3 and they have just come to the prison and made it safe to use as a base. Is this the same episode?
  11. I have also watched the series from the start and it is a very big insight into the 24 hours they has to charge or release a person. The first episode where the man was accused of conspiracy to murder was gripping and i truely believed he was guilty, i mean what innocent man says no comment all the way through the interviews? Yesterdays episode was slightly disturbing, especially because the gent didnt really seem to care that he has thousands of indecent images of underage children. As already said, how the 2 women slept at night after having to view all these horrific images and videos i'll never know, its deffinately something i couldn't do.
  12. I got pointed in the direction of Sons of Anarchy. Watched the first episode and counldnt really get into it. Think i need to give it another go TBH. Im between a few at the minute. Mainly The Walking Dead, Person of Interest and The Blacklist
  13. Im currently working my way through this, nearly finished season 2 and can't get enough of it. Breaking Bad is another good one for people who havent seen it
  14. There you go take a look for yourself http://www.zopa.com/loans Just did £4k over 4 years and this is what it says (sorry can't do screen shot im at work) A loan of £4,000 over 4 years will cost you £96.23 per month. The APR is 7.5%. The total cost after 4 years is £4,619.19, which includes £579.19 interest at 6.9% fixed and a £40.00 fee. The total amount of credit is £4,040.00. This is a representative example.
  15. Yeh, i can log on to my Zopa account and it shows how much i've borrowed, how much i paying back in total and how much i've payed back so far. It also shows you a break down of who's lent what and how much they have lent and also how much of that i've paid the person back. Each monthly payment i make gets split between about 80% of the lenders untill all lenders have their money back over the four years. I think if i remeber correctly i have about 96 lenders who have lent anywhere from £10 to £100 each. Their money gets put in a pot and Zopa distribute it out to borrowers hence why i have so many lenders of smaller amounts rarther than a few lenders of larger amounts.
  16. I think he's done for personally. I can't see now reason why you would need to unload a pistol at a door. I tend to know where my Mrs is within the house and he must've known she was in the house. To me it seems like he wanted to kill her and had a long hard think about it. If he shot her outright it would've been clear as day he did it so he shot her through the door so he could play the intruder card hoping he would get away with it. Just my 2 pennies worth
  17. Credit cards are good for credit ratings and if you keep the payments off shouldn't really go against you for any reason. I got a £4k loan for my car and got it through Zopa. Would highley reccomend them as you borrow money off other lenders (People) so you cut the bank out which means lower interest rates! Ive borrowed the £4k over 4 years and belive i pay back about £4600 in total which is fantastic! i think if i went through a bank i wouldve ended up paying back around £5400 in total so you can see the difference straight away. If you have spare cash you can always lend through Zopa as well, not only will you see returns (if not a slow return) in your lent money you will also help people out like myself who need the money for whatever reason. Great all around if you ask me, **** the banks lol
  18. I must admit mate i was the very same. I don't like to believe in demons because of how nasty they are portrayed to be and when i read up about it it was very very unsettling. Like i said i just closed my eyes so i 'wouldn't see anything'. I think there is a scientific explaination for it, i believe its something to do with the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) phase of sleep.
  19. The first time this happened to me i **** my pants! I can count on one hand how many times its happened and it hasn't happened for a year or so now but it is terryfying! I don't think i can relate it to anything in my life, as far as im aware i wasn't stressed at the time even though they all came within a 6-12 month period, i put them down to being random more than stressed related. The first time it happened i didnt know what was happening or anything, i remember trying to wiggle and screem to my partner laying next to me but i wasn't able to move or shout even though i tried so hard! i must've done something as she nudged me and as soon as she touched me my body snapped out of the "paralysis". In all my experiences though i can never recall a sensation of something holding me down or sat on me, just the feeling of being wide awake but not able to move. I searched it just like yourself and found a whole world of "paranormal" explanations, and even a documentry on it. 90% of theorys is its a "demon" sat on you hense the paralysis and weight on your chest sensation. The documentry interviewed people who said when they awake in this state they see/halucinate demons/ghosts/creatures comeing towards them or holding them down so everytime it happened to me after my first time i tried to keep my eyes closed and wriggle and scream until my partner nudged me and snapped me out of it. I think i would be trumatised for life if i opened my eyes and saw something. Overall i must admit it isn't a nice or pleasent feeling or sensation, its hard to stay calm but i think the best way to snap out of it is to calm youself down and try and wake yourself up by becomeing aware of yourself moving or trying to move to wake your body up.
  20. Alan Henning was such a brave man and didn't show his captors any emotion for them to feed off. I have seen the video with the beheading deleted, it cuts off just before the knife touches his throat and he still doesn't show any emotion at all, he doesn't want these cowards to know he is scared. How he managed to stay so calm and collected ill never know. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Such a brave brave man doing what he thought was a good thing for the less fortunate people of the country. R.I.P Alan Henning
  21. Disgusting. Just seen this on my Facebook.
  22. Looking at the Direct Gov site putting in the information the OP gave he would be looking at paying £27 a week for 1 child so maybe the £150 a week offer he gave might be the better option? That was based on farther having the child 2 times a week, if he has him 1 a week or less he will pay £32 a week so still less than the original offer? As said i havent had to go through this so could be wrong.
  23. Try this calculator on the direct gov site. I've never had to go through it so have no experience but this should help give you a ball park figure. https://www.gov.uk/calculate-your-child-maintenance EDIT: Just worked mine out as an example and i have 2 kids on about £430 a week before tax so would have to pay £59 a week or £238 on average EDIT2: Didn't realise it said gross pay per week so i have edited above to allow for this, BTW im slightly new school and not secretive about what i earn so dont mind people seeing/working out how much i earn.
