  1. Blackpool Air rifles
  2. Just read all 5 pages and still don't have a clue!!! Col Mustard in the Rape with the Shotty?
  3. Stop throwing grenades down the holes then
  4. Td5 is a good bet mate. But so is the Isuzu trooper they are pretty bullet proof. G-Wagen's are great but personally I wouldn't buy an old one.
  5. Got mine from www.uttings.com £280 delivered, give or take a pound or 2 for: BSA Ligning .22 (silenced), 3-9x50 MAP scope, 500 Accupels and a Flambeau hard case. Spent ages comparing sites and this was the cheapest delivered. Other sites I looked on were - BAR (Blackpool air rifles) - Where I got my deeks incidently - and Airsport Direct.
  6. That sounds very strange! Scopes are fully adjustable too, but how far off are we talking? You could have a kink in the barrel. What pellets are you using? Has it got a silencer?
  7. I drive a disco 1 with 206K on the clock, still pulls like a train. And the 200tdi is a lot stronger than the 300.
  8. went out on my own again this morning, due to the amount of crows you can stalk all you like but they still see you and when they fly off the woodies seem to follow suit. Definitely a decoy jobbie. However Mr Squirrel was on his daily stretch of his legs, unfortunately for him I was about 20-25yds away. Got him in scope and just as I fired he was a good lad and looked upwards! So the shot, which would have caved his skull actually went right in the bottom of his throat and up. Boy did he twich when he hit the deck. Tree Rat - 0 Me- 1
  9. I think the point to make here is that you have to have a reason to shoot any of the animals in the list, and popping woody off in your back garden just wont wash. But hey we all make mistakes just take time to think about the consequences before you squeeze the trigger and remember there are always more opportunities, so don't be rushed into it either. Glad you are practising before you go out and do the real thing, that makes a lot of sense. And finally.....good shooting
  10. he is selling what is legally termed as a fire-arm which requires a FAC to purchase, therefore by offering it to you without asking for certification etc he has broken the law. People like those are the ones who end up making the government bring in new legislations etc and make our lives harder than they need be. Shop them. No question.
  11. Well had a good old walk around the land and there is plenty out there for the taking. Saw a few grey squirrels, loads of woodies and a field load of crows. Only saw one solitary rabbit and he was a bit close to the pheasant pen for a clean shot. So getting my shooting partner out there this week, decoy up and let them come to us. Will keep you guys in the loop!
  12. I bought a lightning combo from Uttings. No problem with the mounts at all, fit like a glove
  13. Well that's that sorted. Went to see an old friend, bottle of single malt in hand, and would you believe it....."You can shoot what you like where you like, feel free!!" A hunting I will go.
  14. thats something I'd like to witness That's rabbit morse code that for: HOLY ****, RUN!!!!
  15. Where that be then mate
  16. did you bait them with a dead rabbit or use decoys? Or were you just lucky
  17. Just a note to say hi to everyone, have enjoyed reading this forum over the last few days before I could get back to activate my account. Seems to be some very decent advice on here and I look forward to taking some of it! Have been shooting air rifles for a while but been out of it for 3yrs or so, anyways just bought a .22 Lightning and need to ask a friend to use his farm once more.
  18. Always used domed pellets myself, apparently a better trajectory. Those nylon halfbreeds have very mixed reviews. My 2p
  19. Hi I am new, but just to say I bought the BSA Lightning package from www.uttings.com, fantastic deal - Gun, 3-9 x 50 map scope and a flambeau hard case for £280 delivered
