there is a wood turning club in Washington not to sure what it is like but it could be worth looking into.. I have done a bit on my rarely used lathe to be honest I would say just give it a good go start with, making fishing priests etc nice simple shapes to learn on. also there are plenty vids on youtube showing you how to get on.... My neighbours dog is barking pretty much constantly on an evening. I don't really get on with them to approach them on the matter. However I am wondering if anyone has had any experience using an anti bark system ( ultrasonic sound) I am wondering if they work and how well and also I have my kennels with my own dogs in to consider ( my dogs don't bark and never have) Any advice appreciated Cheers JDF

yes you can extend them or if you have any worries you could run a new waste pipe with upstand behind the new location of the machine. if you are extending and going onto a spigot on a 1 1/2 trap then make sure to try and keep the pipe elevated to avoid water lying in the pipe JDF

when i get out i use a multiplier (shimano calcutta 700bsv) cast with the real right down on the butt end find this gives a much better casting technique and allows for a lot more compression in the rod JDF

i would say a small shed with about a six foot run built on the side would be more than ample, seen plenty kennels that size for dogs in there permanantly as long as they are getting plenty excercise then there shouldnt be any issues JDF

if your spare bedroom is under 70 sq ft then it is actually classed as a boxroom not a bedroom this is a law in the 1985 housing act that can not be overturned, sure that would put a few spanners in the works.... JDF
