Was that film set in 2020 or 2021?
  3. One of the actors from Friends was seen in Cornwall over Christmas, however she has admitted it.
  4. Didn't Martini Henry rifles fire dirty great soft bullets that tore off arms and legs rather than the small holes inflicted on the Zulu's?
  5. Actually she does drink a hell of a lot of Pure orange juice and eats raw bell peppers with pretty much every meal.. She also takes vitamin supplements and Cod Liver oil tablets, which I read somewhere is believed to help.
  6. My wife has just had the results of her 5th test, thankfully again Negative. She works on a Covid Ward, and has seen many a college go down with it. Over Christmas, both me and my son had it. She tested negative. She went back to work, showed symptoms had the test came back negative again. The symptoms have now gone, and she feels fine. All of the tests she has had are because either she has shown symptoms or been in close contact with someone with covid. Just wondering if she is just plain lucky or immune?
  7. Alien the first one John Hurt is the first to cop a face hugger, when he first looks at the egg he has his space helmet on and you can see he has a cap thing over his head inside. When you next see him lying on the bench with the face hugger attached to his face they cut the helmet off but how did they get the cap off? Star Wars. in The first one which is technically the 4th Obi Wan kenobi does not recognise R2 D2 or C3PO. But from the first 3 newer films he should have done, if you get what I mean????
  8. At the beginning when Gandalf is on his way to the shire, its in a field as he goes past smoking his pipe.
  9. Tell me about it. I'm in my 3rd week now since test came back positive. And this Fatigue or to give it its proper name. Post Covid Fatigue. is really getting on my pecks. Even the most trivial of tasks wipes me out.
  10. Agreed, Top Gear North Pole Special, the wheels of the Navara they are driving change quite a few times throughout the episode.
  11. Yep cool and very interesting thread. Never had any luck working Damascus. De-lamination was my constant enemy, Given up now.
  12. Think it was River Cottage. He and his Landlord are shooting pigeons or doves off of a roof. I thought they where using air rifles but turns out they where .22 rimfire. Pretty sure firing one of those into the air with no feasible backstop is quite a big mistake. At the range they where shooting I'm pretty sure that bullet passed through that pigeon and carried on and on and on.
  13. Never seen the film but is there not also some gas canisters in shot when one of the chariots rolls over
  14. Spoke to one of the drivers today, he said He doubts they will remain open much longer or at least go to a skeleton staff as a lot of sites in London, have no staff. Mostly being foreign they went home for Christmas and aren't allowed back at the moment. Apparently London is post apocalypse. Nobody walking about, empty roads. Even Piccadilly had about 3 vehicles on it when he went down there its usually a car park all day. But why are the buses still out in force, there's nobody on them. He said thats all thats on the roads up there, buses, even the black cabs are few and far between.

The Mayor of London has issued a state of Emergency for London. What about everywhere else? its not just London its everywhere.
  17. 13 so far one driver also lost his wife new years day to covid he is still off which is understandable. Why they are still open is shocking. A few have returned the younger drivers seem to have recovered better than the older ones like me.
  18. They decided to leave that in the film because George Lucas thought it was funny even though it wasn't meant to happen. Watched the making of it years ago. They wanted to edit it out but Lucas said no. I have tried to find this mistake but They must have got rid of it. Pirates of the Caribbean at the end of the film there is supposed to be a crew member in a T-shirt and hat sitting on the deck. I have watched the film a few times and can't find it.
  19. Mistakes with guns is always a good one. Some hand guns have unlimited bullets. And the side by side shotgun scene in the first Harry Potter where hagred bends the barrels upwards yet it still fires without blowing the blokes face off. But it blows two holes in the ceiling but only fires once.
  20. Granted but the gigantic shadow of the plane cast on the roof tops of the town, clearly. showing it to be a model is unforgivable.
  21. All of the special effects in Battle of Britain.
  22. Also how did Barney Mcgrew the driver of the fire engine drive it when he always had his eyes closed?😁 To be honest if I remember he didn't have any eyes
  23. Being off work at the moment, I am being subjected to some seriously dire films that the wife seems to think are brilliant. One is Withnail and I. a "comedy" set in 1969 staring Richard E Grant. I pointed out to the wife if its set in 1969, then why is there a sign post for the M25 clearly in shot when the M25 was built in the 80's opened I beleive 1985? Another of her favourites is The Parent Trap, the remake not the one with Haley Mills, watched this again last night, and she said if I mention the moving cowboy hat she will kill me. There is a scene where a young Lindsey Lohan is sitting on the sofa talking to her dad. on the sofa also is a cowboy hat that moves about all over the sofa in different shots. You also have a Passenger Jet flying over in Gladiator. A Landrover at the beginning of Lord of the Rings and best of all the self repairing Porsche in Commando. Anyone got a movie mistake that ruins the film?
