  1. Not a working dog, just me best mate. This is Webley. Staffie French Bulldog cross, look at those ears! And trademark white paw.

But remember boards don't hit back
  3. Still can't shift this tiredness, have a day of feeling tip top, then pay for it the next day. Been off work now since the 15th December. The main symptoms have gone. But just feel wiped out no matter how much sleep I get. I work for a plant hire company so if I was to go in I probably would last about 10 minutes nothing we hire out is what you could call light.
  4. Yep agree there, shame the bags are so small.
  5. Pringles never crunch like they do in the adverts. Texas BBQ is the only one with any flavour. If we are talking crisps then Tayto's Cheese and Onion. The Southern Ireland ones not the Northern Ireland ones. Closely followed by Golden Wonder Spring onion Flavour. Owned by Tayto's as well/
  6. That is a seriously set of ropey railings she's got there, looks a bit like an old cemetery.
  7. I have a Screw fix one Titan brand, it does the job but the chuck was a pile of **** had to replace it as it didn't tighten properly no matter how hard you tightened it. Hell of a job getting it off though. Its ok now but like Dave above you have to keep your eye on the table as it moves over time. Also the knobs on the 3 pull bars are small, replaced them with golf balls, much more comfortable and controllable now.
  8. A bit of bike inner tube works a treat, thoroughly clean it first. Put the garlic inside bit of pressure with your hand roll it backwards and forwards twice. Hey presto peeled garlic Jamie oliver was selling bits of inner tube for a tenner online calling them the easy peeler.
  9. Hansard is something to do with Parliamentary Debates. Looks like a pretty sophisticated Phishing email to me.
  10. Looking at her picture a trip to the dentist would be far more urgent.
  11. @Jim NealThanks for the directions but Aunt Bessie's Yorkie puds are pretty damn fine. But if I could smuggle the yorkie puds out of a Toby Carvery because they are unbeatable.
  12. Parkside tools are re-branded Einhall tools. Designed in Germany let down by manufacture in China. I had a Parkside Arc Welder. Was a pretty good bit of kit if I'm honest. They also do a multi welder now Tig Mig and Arc, got pretty good reviews.
  13. I like a homemade curry, any one will do. apart from a Korma thats not a curry its a desert. And I like it served in one of those giant Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire puddings. The wife and me cannot make yorkshire puddings if our lives depended on it.
  14. This is on the increase, on social media, on the news. Bloke in South London walking his springer, two blokes jump out of a van punch him to the ground grab his dog chuck it in the van and gone all done in broad daylight. 5 doors up my road. 4.30 in the afternoon two blokes kick a womans front door down, walk in bold as brass and steal her Staffie and its 6 pups they must have known obviously not done on the off chance. If someone kicked my front door down and tried to steal my dog, he will have the problem of getting back out. I will make that extremely difficult and not to mention painful for him. As a dog lover reading these stories turns my guts over. It must be gut wrenching for the owners. Not knowing what has or is to become of thier best friend. Are they used as bait dogs. Puppy farming,? I'd rather someone break into my house and empty it of the TV and valuables. You can replace them. This crime seems to not be too high on the police to do list. And it should be treated more urgently with serious consequences.
  15. Pretty much!!! Had a bowl of Alpen instead.
  16. She did wash them all off before hand.
  17. Just had a blazing row with the wife over breakfast this morning, She got a dozen fresh duck eggs off a work mate yesterday. They are covered in ****. She did egg on toast his morning and I refused to eat them. Don't get me wrong despite how bad duck eggs are apparently for you, high in cholesterol, fat and salt I do love a duck egg. but from the supermarket. Fresh duck eggs so I have read have to be thoroughly cooked and not advisable to use in cakes. Hard boiled and not runny if fried or poached. My two duck eggs where runny like how I have hens eggs. She got the hump and threw them away, saying if we believed everything on the internet we would eat not anything. So can any of you lads make me right or wrong on this are fresh out the duck, eggs safe? I beleive from the supermarket they are pasteurised though not 100% sure on that either but feel safer eating them as you know the supermarket wouldn't sell them otherwise. There is quite a high risk of salmonella from duck eggs if they are not cooked properly through.
  18. 4th picture down looks like a petrol station. is that wise?
  19. I use Gorilla wood glue, contrary to popular belief there is not a great deal of oil present in olive wood so any wood glue will do the trick. I use olive wood for making catapults and never had any problems sticking laminates to it.
  20. Obviously steer well clear of Yew. Also purple heart is not 100% safe. Read somewhere it can cause Nausea. Olive wood is the got to choice as olive wood has antibacterial qualities. and is easy to look after. Just a coat of olive oil and its good to go. Sapele would be too soft for a chopping board.
  21. They usually sell thier haul in pubs. Well the 3 regulars we have round this way do. You can usually knock them down quite a bit from thier first asking price. But as pubs are shut. The boys have nowhere to sell it.
  22. Quit smoking.......blown that one already. If I could just get past that roll up with a coffee first thing in the morning I could quit no problems. Did it before 20 years ago so should be able to do it again. Get my own business up and running by June/July. Just need to refine my Google searching for suppliers. Get a huge workshop to facilitate resolution 2.
  23. Being a bit skeptical of robots I was looking to see if this was CGI, if it is then who ever did it haven't missed anything, Reflections in the glass, shadows on the floor and even the dents in the flooring that the robots make when they move. Leads me to beleive its probably real. And very clever.
  24. I find the powder pigment works best for good streaking effects. The liquid pigments look ok at first but have a habit of blending together during the curing period and you end up with just one colour, usually a very dark colour. Project ruined.
  25. Personally I would use resin on the top. Total Boat or Entropy. It would look cracking. Build a mold around the edges and pour in the resin, it will find its own level then a quick run over with a blowtorch to remove the air bubbles and that would look outstanding. Also a lot tougher than varnish and longer lasting. Just a thought. P
