I've the SX3 and the maxus both good guns and used to have a Benelli montefeltro which was good also Beretta and Benelli are both getting a bit pricey Looked into the SX4 Apparently from gun reviews i read they seem to have moved the weight forward making them more muzzle heavy which is'nt what you want with a semi But only you can choose which gun fits you best As said try a few guns

Yep i knew that worked with shotguns I kept my fathers guns in my cabinets so he had to have my guns put on his ticket even though he'd stopped shooting through age but his ticket was not due to expire for a couple of years If two or more ticket holders have access to the same cabinet then all guns have to be on all tickets But i was'nt sure this applied to fac weapons So now i know All my fac weapons are kept in one vault seperate to my shotguns kept in another vault

I use RC 16g 28g for game shooting which is the true square shot size for a 16g gun Just ordered another 2000 from my local supplier 1000 of which is for my mate which are now £324 per thou ( still cheaper than JC ) Although a 3% price rise from this time last year They informed me that RC are still one of the more competitve priced game cartridge maker And they make cracking cartridges

I have heard this on several occations Or beware of the man that can use any gun All caliber rifles have a purpose All guage shotguns have a purpose You would'nt shoot a deer with a .22lr You would'nt use your expensive game gun to go wildfowling on salty marshes Hence i have guns to cover all aspects of shooting All have a purpose One gun could not serve all

Them Elite are'nt the cheapest i would've thought they'd be ok These granular are ok A shooting mate took 2000 off me and he likes them I'am the same only use fibre and have done for a few years now Only plastic i have are Cheddite 60 metri and 100 metri just for the odd occation Another shooting friend uses the Victory starlight through his old aya o/u and loves them But plastic which was a bit awkward on a shoot we went to and no plaswad allowed

That's a fair hike from Falkirk I've bought 3 shotguns and 5000 cartridges from them in the past 2 year Their cheddite granular fibre 31g 5 or 6 are pretty good at £245 per thou

Anglers choice Dundee do a felt 36g Malmo guns do Europa 32g fibre Both a fair distance for you Looks like JC plus delivery seems to be your option or maybe a local gunshop might order some

We can'nt shoot duck with lead even over land which seems daft as i shoot pheasant partridge and vermin with lead and always fibre wad Are the europa's not an option

What you using 35g for?

That'll be the europa's Surely he could order some as you say on his next order list My local does that for myself if they do'nt stock the carts i require they'll order 1000 and still cheaper than JC

Having looked into it It looks like it ended end of Jan but it was still coming up on adds more recently You fill in a form once you purchase the gun and send it off or the gundealer does it for you Still worth enquiring Good luck S

My shooting mates use Victory and they picked them up in the Durham area but not sure from whome I can soon find out if that helps

It's possible on your sort of money I got a cracking CZ 452 .17 hmr from my local gunsmith for £350 incl mod and scope They knew the gun and assured me it had done nothing I also got a CZ 452 .22 through the same dealer with scope and mod for sub £200 and it's spot on Both great guns So it is possible and would recommend CZ
