Yes, one or two farmers have said the same to me already, god that "guy" cannot help himself can he, is he the ceo of BASC?

If you don't like the advice just ignore it, he is only telling you the truth, shooting pigeons is supposed to be about crop protection, doesn't mean you can't enjoy being out in the field shooting though.

Mice i am sure BSA have released a Bullpup, you can also buy Bullpup stock kits for most guns. Craftsman Vit is one sells through BAR.

Look forward to seeing your build Ultrastu :good:

reason stu is doing it figgy is because of his disgust with what bsa have done regards their bullpup. Bit of winding up on another thread, now its time to sit back and learn.

Tell me about it, I’m a car mechanic and do my sisters and there husbands and threes kids for free. All I ask for is the money for parts and I have to keep reminding them for that.

one of my brother in laws always says he can only pay me on a Friday when he gets paid but spends thousands on tattoos and fishing tackle ??

they don’t know how lucky they are

A service wont fix a breakdown either with a boiler or a car

A service may have been all it needed, who knows, £200 and not fixed!! Sorry but that stinks.

my brother is a mechanic standard price for me is parts plus beer, lucky aren't i?

As for some of the other posts its shocking, if you cant trust your own family not to stitch you up what hope is there.

Tried a larson in my back garden last year.  And the Mrs and neighbours on one side weren't too happy. Any alternatives? An airgun wont work as I have a very public walkway backing on to me. There are magpies evreywhere and no song birds left. Any ideas?

Sounds like me this, my missus is against a larsen trap, trapping squirrels and the odd rat is much more discreet, my kids would probably end up naming the call bird and one neighbour might kick up a fuss, magpies everywhere, but plenty of song birds at the moment.

need a magpie to catch a long tail tit where she can see then the wife will wage war on them.

Mine too. Did about 10 in garden about 2-3 years ago, not said a word to her. Every once in a while she says " we don't get any squirrels now" My response is to tell her we won't since the council cut the trees down behind our fence. I know the cemetery out back is full of the damn things so what I said is only a partial fib. Keeps the peace though

get a feeder up and invite them into your garden, just make sure it has a good back stop:innocent:

I wish I was having a laugh. It amounted to about £20.

If they take my / our grandkids to McDonalds, they keep the receipt for re-imbursement. They are quite well off, but so tight.

thought my in laws were tight but thats shocking, wouldn't it be great if they gave them an invoice at the end of the year for the holiday home, even if it was a joke.

Wife’s relative is a plumber and he has in the past installed our boiler, at the minute it is playing up. He has been out to it and been payed £200 ..trouble is it’s still not working and he is avoiding our telephone calls and Facebook messages.

be cheaper to just get someone to service it, that's not related

Cheers Fisher, this was at Brickcroft in Longton! No where near as good a nature reserve as MSW.... need to get a trip to MS soon mate

Had a walk around there a few weeks back, nice little spot and very easy to walk around if you have young ones or old ones, only spotted two squirrels while there?

This is why I won't buy a camera, i thought your pictures were great, but i imagine you end up with more kit trying to get the perfect pics than you do shooting, possibly.

  9. just scrolled through to page 7, there is a Bobcat on there, take a look see what you think, also a link to another thread about the bobcat. Pretty sure there are others on the fac threads.

End of the day if your buying new then go with what you feel is right, otherwise chances are you'll have to buy another rifle pretty soon, wouldn't that be a shame ??

  10. did you ever see the grand designs program where they did all the kitchen out of ply? Looked amazing, they even had the individual ply's lining up. It was supposed to look minimalistic but funnily enough was very hard work achieving it.
