  1. Now then, I haven't tried this with pellets but had a brainwave whilst hard at work? Standard bic biro, still with me, take out nib and ink bit( technical term) the bore at the back end of the pen just allows a 5.5 mm drill bit so probably too tight( find out at 8-20) for .22 hopefully not to slack for your .177(4.5mm).

load in your pellets at home, or let the misses do it for you, in my mind your loading device allows only one pellet in at a time? you use the second biro which is normal to push your pellet in as if you were putting the ink part back in.

its not going to be super secure with only the pen lid holding in the pellets but you could put the pens in a cartridge wallet.

hopefully give you something to play with over breakfast.

    :hmm:

  2. We were at Blackpool zoo Sunday, sun was shining and pretty much everything was basking in the warmth, ate lunch watching the tigers but one of the highlights was still watching two small offers, not our native ones but lovely creatures, they may be eating your ducks but I still want to see them in the wild.

  3. well I watch pretty much anything I can on big cats, how about this, escaped lynx see's something fluffy and chases or stalks it, as does your average tame house cat, roles it round plays with it oops I've gone and killed it, bored now it won't play anymore, walks away?

More than a little annoying, what about the threads that go for twenty or so pages, lots of fun to be had scrolling through trying to find where you left it, like reading a book with no bookmark and each page taking five seconds to turn.

Unfortunatly if I was a new member here I wouldn’t stay long as this site I now very awkward to use, It’s only because I know how good it can be that I’m still looking, fingers crossed it gets better

if you just press the plus symbol by quote it brings up a box saying 1 quote, press this then type below, you will also get a msg because I have quoted you. I'm managing so far and I'm far from great where comps(phones) are concerned.

  5. Nowhere at the minute, but where I used to shoot most was in and around cattle sheds and there food troughs, they were pretty much living and eating in the same place, was there shooting collard doves plus any rats. Another spot was a muck heap come dumping ground, it got burned every now and again but good sport in-between.

you must have no sense of smell the amount of time your shooting around pigs.

  6. I've got a 91 airgunner mag with me in work and there listed in there for sale, so could be anytime from then onwards I'm guessing, I had a tracker and that was a great gun.

the eclipse was selling back then at £150

  7. Is a six acre garden not a field or wood? Guess it depends on neighbours and what are they surrounded by? Usual thing of back stops and safe shooting would come into play as to whether sub 12 or fac.

Scully, really have a play with a .177 you should be ok if your going for a magazine system, but old cold fingers and you may struggle.

  8. have a read, if you haven't already of the .22 or .25 threads with regards fac, there is really good info with regards power and ranges, personally I would say stick with.22 as .177 pellets are very fidly, but you might be better off asking if anyone you know can let you borrow a gun for a week in both flavours and see how you get on.

It's been slow on here recently anyway so a which calibres best is always fun.

Just had my bottles refilled and .22 hitting near enough at 20 &25mtrs

  9. Give the bisley pest control a try, I would imagine the magnums are going straight through given the weight and power, they'll still be dead just elsewhere, sounds good tho shooting rats from where they can't run over your feet.

Like the new look, but just tried to reply to this with an emoji only ( the crying with laughter one; am on mobile ) but it states they’re not submissable anymore.

Is that from a mobile device only?
