I was going to say wellies or some sort of muck boot, sounds like you want something light weight but water proof??

Is there a reason folk don't just feed there dogs with the pigeon they have shot? Is it down to the lead in them??

Sounds as though your zero or yourself is off the mark, its unfortunately a chance you take when you pull the trigger, but more practice generally makes for less wounding or accidents.
As for people not wanting to dispatch wounded quarry fast, then you shouldn't be shooting live quarry.

Mate of mine has a ten, no idea what it is just remember him saying how much each shot cost and my comment being don't miss.

Are you above or below the aim point then? What range you zeroed for?
I know what you mean about aiming for a small target, you pull one or miss it looks like its miles away in the scope then when you get up close its not that bad.
Nice groups though not sure I've ever tried that sort of range

Is the rookery not on the keepers land mate? Will be noisy so ear plugs are a good idea but an evening or two roost shooting should put a good dent in them, otherwise above still counts.
Be in position early if they see you moving about they'll give you a wide birth

Got me wondering, if you put a pigeon with fly eggs on it down by an ants nest are they going to clean the eggs off then?lay them near an ants nest. ants love fly eggs.
Really don't like flies especially if you've left the fridge open a bit in summer and they have a party in there ☹

I'm sure they showed another tower block near by that had no fire alarm or extinguishers and was supposed to be same or similar, possibly with same cladding.
Was £5 million not made available to help get things sorted.
People are being worked up by trouble causing muppets, me and the misses watched quite a bit last week on the news, saw the interview a couple of times about fridge on fire and someone kicking doors to warn people.
I can understand people want answers but was the building not built in the 70s how is that the fault of anyone in government today?

Have a look for a thread on yumove some good info, I gave our old boy them and they certainly helped him.
There a supplement but you can give them long term, based on muscles do fishy smell and no problem giving them the dog.
