Picked our first blackberry yesterday, just one sat there ripe on its own.

48hrs, then your supposed to sign an opt out form to work more.

Can you not have a word with your new neighbours, show them you have a good backstop and your not shooting towards them? Can't imagine they are always in the garden or could complain if your doing a couple of hours a week so long as everything's safe.
The fella above saying he puts up a flag if he's in the garden shooting sounds like a good idea.

I've worked at places where you get an average of your last 13 weeks, so guys used to hammer it when they were going away.
With nothing in writing I'd say your knackered really, also you should be getting ot for the extra ten hours as well.
Start looking for a new job before you lay down the law.

Seen a physio a day after the injury, your supposed to hobble around for weeks, how the other half live!!
Bag of frozen peas for the cold and a microwave heat thing for the heat, just don't eat the peas, elevate the leg and look forward to weeks of limping.
Also worth looking at the magnetic type supports you can get they help speed up the recovery.
And whiskey 🥃

Our budleia aren't in flower yet, normally around august when we get them in the garden, still seeing plenty out and about around the countryside especially on brambles.
Got loads of ladybirds and larve tho this year which is good for my fruit bushes.

Is it not possible to feed the birds to your dogs or sell them as pet food? This seems to be a common theme at the moment with people posting similar things
How about posting on here free pigeons for collection got to be better than dumping them.
Give them to a ferret welfare place or bird of prey sanctuary although think they would need to be steel shot birds, sell to a zoo?
Failing all that is a low price still not better than dumping birds?

Thought just popped into my head, not thinking big enough?
AFRICA
Don't know what or where, given the political situation over there but you could safari, do some shooting go the beach, feed or watch great white sharks throw in a bit of a cruise keep the missis sweet, how many 7 year olds wouldn't like that??

Reading back through the post Lloyd most folk start with some sort of stock, you can always drain it towards the end.

Reading some of these answers I might come as well carry the bags, wash the windows 😅😅😅

Possibly not wet enough fella or too much heat? What setting were you on?
-
It is legal yes, but I would have asked them to stop if my kids were outside, same as I wouldn't shoot in the garden if my neighbours were having a barbeque or pottering about, sounds like a small garden and shooting towards another just not sensible.
Both sides of me know I shoot but I do keep a low profile but this is simply as I don't want any hassle, even tho my kids shout bang whenever they see a squirrel 😊

The last word in your post "memorable" is the most significant but look at this from 2 angles, for him, that mostly means 'fun' but for you, the real value in your memories will be the time you spent getting to know him more.
Make things
Build things
Catch things
Discover things
Camp
Cook
Climb
Explore
Teach
The things we hold dearest are not the things that our parents bought for us but what they gave us.

7 days in a week, brilliant answers sir.
I never understand missed appointments I'm booked in for a blood test Thursday, I got a text msg yesterday as a reminder and will probably get another before then, so how do you miss?
I would like to see something done about this even if your on benefits if you've made an appointment you can just as easily un make it.

I've always shot in my gardens, except when I had a smaller garden with neighbours on three sides like your drawing shows, it may be legal what there doing but it's not a good idea and I wouldn't be happy about it.
I would certainly go round and ask what he was doing for a backstop, be friendly and helpful and see where it leads. Most people tend to think of air rifles as toys, but at the range your looking at a very serious injury could easily happen.
-
We'll I certainly understand why you want money up front after reading that lot, sounds like something from the Krays, it may be grim up north but it's quiet.
Stay safe guys.

Has Corbyn? Folk want change they just have no idea how yo go about it or pay for it.

If we "hate" the English so much why is it you struggle to find a local in any of the northerly towns? Most English folk have sold their two bedroom semi and moved up here and bought a B&B or hotel...
North Sea oil is a liability that Endland would love and that's why Westminster fights to keep the Union.
I love the two bed semi comment, got this all the time when we moved to Arbroath, I used to fire back no mate it was a one bed flat in London and I'm buying a castle 😎

What's the chances this friends friends cousins mate does a bit of poaching rabbit or deer maybe but has lost a perm so as others have said needs land to keep his gun?
I used to let a couple of mates go on land i had years ago, it was only with air rifles, but still laid down the law, someone you've never met with a fire arm,
Nope
Warning....
