  1. So sorry to hear this. PW is like a gathering of brothers and sisters, and we will be poorer for your leaving us, whether or not we have ever interacted with you directly.
  2. Took my wife's pet rabbit to the vet as she seemed to be going downhill. I thought it was probably "time" but my wife was keen to give Izzy a chance. The vet looked her over and gave her an injection - £50 Wife was moaning on the way home about the cost which was about double what we'd originally paid for Izzy. She passed away that night... (Izzy, not the wife)
  3. Or Putin sent a team over to support Trump.. 🤯🤯🤯 What's the difference?
  4. I had a weekend job in a local supermarket back in the seventies. We used to take in a lorry load of whole pigs and butcher them in store. Once I was taking one off the back of the lorry when a wasp landed on it right in front of my nose. I jumped back and the pig landed on the ground. I bent down to pick it up and my trousers ripped from the bottom of the zip right up to the belt at the back. I was glad of the white overall that day...
  5. To be fair the article that was taken from says "Labour insists that participants are paying for their travel and working on their own time". Then again if Labour are saying that, it might just be a lie. I like Trump but there's no way I'm forking out the cost of a trip to the USA to knock on doors and hand out leaflets, so I wonder what's actually motivating these folks if they're going on their own dime.
  6. Democrat claims about Trump and Project 25 are loaded with disinformation. Even CNN are calling them out on it now. https://edition.cnn.com/2024/07/24/politics/fact-check-harris-project-2025-trump/index.html
  7. Good to know the left are standing firm against foreign interference in elections this time round.

https://cbdbrothers.com are the real deal. I don't know about arthritis, but my daughter suffered from seizures for ~20 years which were getting progressively worse. They quickly melted away when she started taking their Blue Edition and she's now been seizure-free for six years.
  10. And of course the wild birds just carry on spreading it to each other as usual.
  11. So many great clips of him singing on youtube. But you might feel a bit like a voyeur watching this one lol
  12. My late mother in law had some pheasants that took refuge in her garden. They didn't "belong" to her but were often seen pottering around on the lawn. I guess situations like that could become awkward if you had neighbors who had it in for you.
  13. Apologies if this has already been discussed elsewhere, couldn't see any reference to it. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/register-as-a-keeper-of-less-than-50-poultry-or-other-captive-birds I guess this might impact those involved in keepering. Will also help facilitate the cull when the next bird flu scare comes along...
  14. A leaflet from SP Energy Networks landed on my doormat a couple of days ago: Important Information - Preparing for a power cut In the middle of a few paragraphs of common-sense information, like buy a torch and keep your mobile phone charged up, was the following: "Emergency power cuts due to electricity demand shortages: National Grid Electricity Sytem Operator(NGESCO) balances energy supply and demand to make sure there's enough electricity for every home and business in the UK. SP Energy Networks and other network operators may be instructed by the NGESCO to implement emergency power cuts if there's not enough electricity to meet demand. We're required to do this by law. Emergency power cuts across the UK are unlikely and would only happen if there was an extreme shortage of gas and electricity to meet demand If there is an emergency power cut you will lose power for around 3 hours at a time. It's possible you could lose power more than once." I have questions... I've never received one of these leaflets before, does the fact I've received it now mean there's an elevated risk of supply shortage this winter? If there's a recognised risk of not meeting current demand, how are we going to fare when everyone is driving an EV car and heating their house with electricity...?
  15. Wow! wasn't expecting that. Thought Dubois wasn't in the same class as AJ - looked too easy to hit against Hrgović. Boy was I wrong...
  16. The way the WEF talks about it you can almost imagine it was all planned to happen the way it did as test of our submission. https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2022/09/my-carbon-an-approach-for-inclusive-and-sustainable-cities/ Our world is transforming – big community trends for sustainable cities There have been significant developments in last five to seven years on social, environment and technology fronts that could help realise “My Carbon” initiatives for shaping the future towards smart and sustainable cities. Specifically, to mention three developments in this context: 1. COVID-19 was the test of social responsibility – A huge number of unimaginable restrictions for public health were adopted by billions of citizens across the world. There were numerous examples globally of maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, mass vaccinations and acceptance of contact-tracing applications for public health, which demonstrated the core of individual social responsibility.
  17. Amazing they can produce these tiny jet engines, albeit at a cost 😲
  18. Probably a fair bit of both given the "vaccine" programs cells to generate spike-protein which, surprise surprise, turned out to be a significantly pathogenic part of the covid virus. And some of these poor souls are probably still being encouraged to keep taking the boosters, just because...
  19. Beautiful! What kind of engine will it run?
  20. You believe everything you read on fact checking sites? 😂🤣😂 Hint, it's a logical impossibility to absolutely prove a negative. On the other hand you only need one demonstrated instance of something happening to destroy the hypothesis that it has never happened. https://rumble.com/v5esuo5-footage-ohio-woman-eating-a-cat.html https://rumble.com/v5eztn6-springfield-ohio-haitian-migrants-are-eating-cats.-local-news-disagrees-wit.html I acknowledge it's less likely they have been eating dogs as that is not as culturally acceptable for Haitians as eating cats. https://www.haitianreport.com/2019/03/does-haitian-eat-cats.html
  21. Huh? serrac - 457 posts oowee - 11.5k posts Minky - 1.2k posts I suspect there will be some black-swan event between now and January which ensures he never takes office even if he destroys Harris at the poles. Too many compromised people currently holding the levers of power...
  22. Business as usual, except the new regime will be prosecuting actual crimes instead of imaginary ones.
  23. That might all change if Trump wins and we no longer have a DOJ head that's in the Biden/Democrat's pocket.

  25. How about the 3.5 million paid to Hunter Biden by the mayor of Moscow's wife? "Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the wife of the former mayor of Moscow," the Republican report, which was the result of an investigation led by GOP Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, explained as one of its "key findings." Baturina, a billionaire, was previously married to Yuri Luzhkov, who served as mayor of Moscow but was fired for alleged corruption in 2010. The report details how Biden's business received a $3.5 million payment from Baturina in February 2014, which was described to be for "consultancy" work. In 2015, Biden also received several payments of several hundred thousand dollars from Baturina, several of which were listed as part of a "loan agreement." But then I guess it wouldn't count unless it was shown to you personally by Merrick Garland... 🤔
