Hi lads, I could do with a bit of advice on what you do with old air rifles. Have you tried looking onto epoxy resin, good stuff and will last, if its on the outside and you want a tough finish and don't want to see the wood try raptor paint 👍

Education differs from area to area when budgets are cut restrictions are made unfortunately. I'm not on the wage of a typical school teacher I do the job out of choice working with disadvantaged children who have been part of some form of abuse. I wish things were different. I worked In a hgv garage and decided to get out of that trade I would rather teach so I have seen both sides. Government needs to get there act together and as was said in an earlier post when teachers have to take work home and do all the other things both schools and parents expect who's there to thank them no amount of money is worth mental wellbeing

It's easy to pass comments on other peoples profession maybe you should try teaching not many have the mettal to last. I wish I got 3 weeks off 20 days plus bank holidays I get like many other professions. Lots of inner city schools have it tough given the society we all live in

I'm working at the wrong place I wish I was on that sort of money. The young people I work with are of poor back grounds and are th hardest to reach in the borough. I wish we had a better budget to put more into staff and give them more opportunities than we do now. We're fortunate enough to have a good few friends and associates to help out and some donate things of use.

Hard work to say the least but rewarding. I hate being called a teacher but its what I do. Schools have high expectations and never look at the ability of the students. If I'm not interested nobody will ever be able to teach me.

I teach young people who are excluded from school/ mainstream education. I also teach sen students 14-16yrs and my English may not be brilliant but it's not required for my teaching we have other staff for that area. My teaching is motor vehicle and construction skills to give young people an opportunity to learn a trade and hopefully put them back on track.

I teach in alternative education and were not all like that presuming that all teachers are the same. I agree that its pampering but not by choice for the majority of teaching staff.
