There appears to be a growing number of people who, whenever a criminal is identified to be of a certain origin, or colour, start to accuse anyone stating this, no matter how factual,of "racism" or "xenophobic". I find it quite odd, for instance if a thief were described as "tall" or thin, or short, fat, fair or dark haired, nobody would comment. It goes without saying not all fitting the above category are of a criminal persuasion. as you rightly state facts are exactly that,, but many just won't accept it.

I believe the reference was aimed squarely at the scammers in particular, and not all romanians or eastern europeans. how do you interpret the wording.?

as stated, "opinions differ as to which particular parts" why the singular interest in mine.? you fail to state your view on the subject, do you have your own selection? or are you happy to include good and bad,, in the way the current pandemic is doing.

quite often the little used ebay accounts are hacked, one clue is in the entire history the seller has sold and bought a few small insignificant items,, suddenly they have for sale 3/4 of a million quids worth of luxury vehicles and all at bargain prices. another is the instruction to contact by a mobile number, therefore removing any dialog from ebay messages. and any protections it might offer.

If only they said they were coming to pick fruit and veg,,, they would have just fine.

They are local to me, [ten-fifteen minutes away] but they still don't answer emails or answer the phone, they seem to still be taking orders and cash from people, but people are reporting them to various reviews, trustpilot etc, as having waited months in some cases and not getting either goods ordered or explanations as to whats going on. the shop is closed due to cv19 apparently. I recall the last time the old Pellpax went under and then resurfaced under a slightly different name. I hope this isn't the case this time, the guys at the shop are a pretty good bunch of helpful enthusiasts.

Has anyone heard from them lately, they don't appear to be answering calls or emails but still taking orders, and it would seem attracting much negative press online. I would like to give them support in these troubled times but am reluctant to do so if they are not going to fulfill orders.

phone the number and ask a few questions, If there is any suggestion of strange free delivery and or "selling for an offshore mate or partner" usually requesting you pay a deposit that "ebay will hold for you until you have received delivery of it" walk away its a scam. and an old one at that. The other thing to bear in mind is would you be happy to go to a previously unknown meeting place with 5k in your pocket?? and then finding no bargain landrover but a group of dubious looking lowlifes to roll you for your cash and worse. years ago I heard of a scam often used at appleby fair, whereby a bloke would offer you 500 quid to take him home to a dying relative, and would pay upfront, the unsuspecting victim often being somewhat driven by greed and stupidity would take the cash and off they would go, 3 miles up the road and the guy requests you pull into the next lay by as he needs a ****, and guess what , ? his mates are waiting , you lose the 500 quid, any cash you may have on you, your watch,phone, vehicle, and often given a good kicking as well. by the time you get to report it to a largely uninterested police [your the 5th in the last two days.] the car is long gone and your cash is likely in the pocket of the next poor mug driving some stranger home to bury his poor old mum.

As previously said, there are many variations of how the same outcome should be approached.

but it could be said her fortune will finance many thugs. so as with most things,more choices, do you cut off the funding, or just add a few more hapless followers to replace those hospitalised or put off at the very least by the paid thugs.

In the likely event of many being forced to give up shotgun shooting due to the inevitable rising costs of alternatives to lead and plastic, and coupled with the resultant losses in cartridge makers profits, whats left,? and perhaps more worrying, whats next?

herein we come to the first choice, do we include the dear little old lady in a city suburb who wishes to leave her entire estate to wild justice or some similar outfit? in the same group as a hired thug beating a huntsman or follower with a tyre iron. both wish to end hunting, but with differing reasons and ways to achieve it.

I believe the trick to ultimate survival is to remain absent from everyone else's list.

certain elements of the human race would benefit from a "cull" opinions differ as to which particular parts, this virus and those before and after it has no preference. but as with almost everything else,mankind appears to contribute as much as possible in the spreading of it to all corners of the planet.
