  1. Would be very interested to see photo of the "made in Utah" stamp. Never heard of any 325s, or subsequent incarnations, being made anywhere other than Japan.
  2. Hi You seem to have got to the maker -well done! I emailed Akus in Turkey in 2022 and one of the Directors replied - my email and their reply attached below. Thank you for reaching out to us and thank you for your kind words! I would need to see some photos of your gun to be exactly sure if we manufactured it, but by the looks of the serial number it seems like that it is not one of our guns. We are currently working with Webley & Scott in UK. You can get in contact with them and make an inquiry, but please note that they do not have all of the Akus models readily available. I am sure that they will try to help you out with your request. Feel free to e-mail me if you need any assistance regarding this matter. Best Regards, Hello I would be very grateful if you are able to help me please. I have a 12 bore over and under shotgun that has the name "Classic Game" on it together with a code of TK AK 07 12/76. I have not been able to establish who manufactured this fine gun and I wondered if it may be yourself? On looking at your website I am very impressed by he guns you have made. Are they available in the UK? Many thanks
  3. Hi Rich Sorry I had not noticed your message until it has been brought to my attention by Westly. I have since sold the gun as I wanted a 30 and I found the "Classic Game very heavy (due to the very solid build quality). I never did get to the bottom of where it was made. Best guess was that it was part of a sample batch made to show to the trade (most likely from Turkey) although I have no real evidence for this. Looking at the picture of you choke it does look the same as the ones in my Classic Game. Despite asking numerous shooters and gun shops no-one could identify them. My gun was purchased at auction in Cheshire and came with only 2 chokes. Bizarrely I had bought a different gun several years earlier from a chap in Hull and it had come with a carboard box full of loose cartridges. The chap said he had only ever owned the gun he sold me and that he was giving up shooting altogether. On sorting though the cardboard box I found 3 unmarked chokes. No one could identify these chokes but when I bought the Classic Game several years later they turned out to be the 3 missing chokes to make up the complete set for that gun. Sorry not to be of any real help but good luck with your search. Rob
  4. Am I understanding correctly that you are selling 93 RC cartridges for £75.00?
  5. Hi I appreciate you advertised this some time ago but is the gun still available? Thanks Rob
  6. Hi Is this right or left handed? The first photo is left and the second right.
  7. Looks the same base gun although in 30' with fixed chokes and marked as a sporter. strange as mine has 28' multichokes and is marked as a "Classic Game". still non the wiser as to their origin.
  8. I have spoken to Akus in Turkey bet they said it is not one of their guns. Seem very nice people and their website shows some lovely guns and they tell me they are working i conjunction with Webley & Scott.
  9. Hi No have not been in touch with CGR. A friend has suggested that it may be a prototype/sample gun made somewhere on behalf of an importer that was not taken forward. Presumably the steel proof marks indicate that the gun is not very old. One striking feature is the weight (particularly for a 28inch described as a game gun) it weighs 8lb 9oz! Do you think there is any merit to my theory that the TK indicates Turkish manufacture?
  10. Hi I have picked up the gun and attach pictures of the markings on it. Any help in determining its origin would be most appreciated.
  11. When I have picked up the gun I will check the proof marks and let you know what I find. Thanks for all the input so far.
  12. Not sure how to attach pictures but if you can look on Wilson 55 auctioneers website there are good pictures of it. it was lot 415 purchased in the auction earlier today. It has "Classic Game" stamped on the barrels.
  13. Hi I have just acquired the above gun with 28 inch barrels. Looks in very good condition although it seems heavy. I can not find anything about the gun (not even where it was made). It is not a Classic Doubles who took over Winchester production after their demise as it is not of that quality. Can anyone shed any light please? Thanks
  14. Hi Sorry if I have missed it in your advert but is it right or left handed?
  15. Looks like a 28 inch ? Is it right r left handed cast?
  16. I have an exceptionally good condition one that has not been out of my cabinet for about 10 years but it is left handed - presume you are looking for a right handed one?
  17. Hi could you tell me how straight the stock is /amount of cast please as I shoot left handed. Where about in the country are you? Thanks
