    Influx of Greys?

Just found this comment on a similar topic on another forum: This coincides with post breeding dispersal as well as a shift in foraging activity and also due to the population being at its peak prior to winter.
  2. Has anyone else noticed a massive increase in the amount of greys about lately? I'm sure there's much more than previous years. In South Wales anyway. Anywhere else noticed the same? Any idea why there's been such a boom? I'm guessing something to do with the weather conditions this year, but given the summer we've had I'd have thought it would have counted against them!

  5. Hi Evilv, Im thinking about taking out my BSA XL Tactical (12ft lbs), but I might buy a different gun especially to take, something cheaper probably as it would be hard to justify too much expense for a gun that I wouldnt get as much use out of. I am unsure if you need a licence out there to buy an air rifle, if not then it would make sense to buy one out there I suppose!
  6. Hello All, I was just wondering how would I go about taking an air rifle into Europe by car? Id like to take my gun with me to Italy and keep it over there for future visits. Would it be possible? And has anyone on the forum ever done anything similar? I dont even know if you need a licence to own an air rifle in Italy, so that would effect things im sure. I havnt done any research yet but I thought Id ask you guys first. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer

  8. Hello All, I think the red currants in my garden are nearly ready to eat, they taste ok, not sure if i should leave them longer though as i couldnt find anything online with regards as to what time of year they are ripe. But last October i made sloe gin for the first time and i was thinking about doing something similar with the red currants this year, but again i couldnt find any recipes, any ideas guys? Any desert recipes would also be very welcome? Thanks guys

  16. I keep a knife in my car, i shoot when i can, but thats not the reason i keep it there, i dont have a job that would involve me using a knife for any reason, its there purely because its handy to have, not for any specific practical use just very general use, be it cutting up fruit or any number of reasons i might need it. And im sure theres still a number of people that might carry one for the same reason, i think it for these people that all this may cause a problem for. I used to have a very small knife i used to keep on my key set, it was only because i had to remove it frequently when catching flights that ive stopped keeping it with me, again im sure many people might be in the same predicament. I know im no threat, and am a sensible law abiding person, but a police officer potentially searching me wouldnt know that, all they would have to go by is im a young man carrying a knife, and with a new law behind them to take action with why wouldnt they? For fear of letting me carry on about my day under MY say so and me going on to commit a crime with it, much too risky from their perspective. But where would it stop, having a knife in my car im just as much fo a threat as if its in my pocket surely?
