I have an Astra Vanguard .410 which is a clone of a Cooey 84 break barrel single shot shotgun if you want to see what it looks like just google Cooey 84 and you'll see a few of these advertised around £60-100 so I am hoping this is attractive to someone fairly local to Hitchin or genuinely prepared to come and get it. It has a 27.5" barrel and a 14.75" LOP (but it doesnt seem that long!). It is an old school hammer/semi-hammer gun so awesome for loading with the hammer down and just cocking the hammer to shoot - so nice and safe when loaded and walking around the farm or on wet slippy terrain etc. waiting for ratty to stick their head up! My intention with this gun was to fit a silencer as it has no "pip" front sight It's an older gun and has some very light surface pitting and a small amount of general "patina" for a rough gun I will post some pictures later or send to WhatsApp on request but to be honest if you want pictures on a gun like this - its probably not the gun you need - but if you want something for taking out with rats or vermin in mind in all weathers this is ideal, particularly if you follow through and fit a silencer as per my intention I am only asking £20 for it as I need the space otherwise I'd be keeping it for original intended purpose the reason why I am asking £20 is because I don't want someone to say they want it then mess me around to come and pick it up! So someone that can pay now and collect from near Hitchin Hertfordshire within a week or so preferred please. Section 1 Benelli Supernova pump action for sale. 12 gauge. This has got a 27” barrel. This also comes with the shim set for adjusting cast. There have been some upgrades to it these are: Nordic systems magazine extension (allowing 13 cartridges to be loaded). Magload short action bars, including original action bars and a spare set, as in the photos. Hi-vis red sight bead Perfect for practical shotgun use. I bought the gun with the intention of using it for practical shotgun but I have not had much time to pursue this, as I am more invested in gallery rifle pistol shooting. For sale Winchester 5500 Sporter, this is one of the last Japanese made Winchesters probably form the late 80s before they ended production and became Classic Doubles. Mechanically the gun is brilliant, very low "mileage" with the top level well over to the right, bores are all clean and sparkly. The wood work has a few small knocks, with a small repair on the toe of the butt stock. Specs:- 30inch barrells with ventilated rib, back bored to 18.6mm fixed choke (1/4 & 1/2), 14 1/2" LOP, small repair on toe of stock & butt plate. Adjustable trigger & selective barrel safety Price wise, I'm looking for £350, no real rush to sell it, just trying to free up some cabinet space, would make an ideal pigeon or clay gun. Hi I'm considering selling my 1897 which I bought a couple of years back as an investment as well as always wanting one. I will post pictures asap but it’s in good condition for its age serial number dates to 1907 and has a clean unpitted bore. I’m not looking to sell quickly at a knock down price so am listing at £2500 and whilst I might consider offers but in my experience there’s often a shortage of supply particularly of nice ones! If I have no issues keeping the shotgun if it pans out that way but would very much appreciate it going to a collector that can enjoy the quality and engineering of this very early piece of history, at roughly 117 years old! For those that don't know the M97/1897 its got a rich history and was used as a trench warfare firearm - please check out some vids on the interweb. Key features are the external cocking hammer that can be manually released to put the gun into a loaded "safe" condition plus it's capable of slam firing. Wood is in very good condition and although not perfect it is extremely unmarked for a 100 year old shotgun.
