Ya, it's not that far from here given a super early leave time, though I'd have to slum it in a poxy new Mazda 3 after having written off my Merc yesterday :blink:

Anyone doing it on Sat? Can we just turn up or do we need to prebook?

I would be tempted to ring the ground and check just to be safe.......Mr Money-Bags :good:

To get on one of the county teams you would need to down load the formand copy it from the cpsa and then enter the team before you shoot Alot of the teams with active county members are already booked on.I would advise a phone call to Sue at Doveridge to see what the official line is. As an example when I used to help out in the Lancashire region, we always used to have up to 4 senior teams entered,a vets, ladies and junior teams also, but there were always unofficial teams submitted. Hope this helps! When I come to Grimsthorpe, i will bring the Lancashire team badges with me, I had them made by a chap in Wales, they are pretty awesome, perhaps Chard or someone might like to take over from where i finished, when I moved to North Yorkshire................. from Auntie :good::good::good:

I was under the impression that you could just shoot it as a normal comp and didn't have to be on a County team :lol:

I wasn't presuming to be up to shooting for Cheshire :yes:

I'll check it out :good:

The CPSA website describes it as :

100 ESP REG (NATIONAL INTERCOUNTIES) + OPEN

It's the + OPEN bit I was thinking of entering :P

Should be a goer for me and my ol fella on the Sun :good:

5 o'clock start though :hmm::)

Need to familiarise myself with the lingo up there in readiness for the true biggy :lol::lol:

That's me in, then :yes:

I'll start lessons on Derbyshireisms :

Stodgin' yer 'odge - This means eating greedily. So if you stop for breakfast when you get hungry, you'll no doubt be "stodgin' yer 'odge" :good:

Put wood int th' ole - this means "shut the door" :lol:
