GW80
A few of us went out this morning round the shoot, we have a good few birds around at moment, and they need moved about a bit, 4 guns today shot 10 pheasants, 0nly 2 cocks and the rest hens, the hens are ex layers we got cheap. Hopefully after another week or two they will be a bit more naturalised and provide better sport, it could have been a murder picture today if you had any greedy guns, but a brace each and a brace for the farmer was enough for one morning! Ballymac
you'd be surprised how many stupid people are out there, according to my local gun dealer... I wasn't gettin at you Gareth, due to the recent floodings etc should you be expected to use steel shot if you are going after pheasants in what is usually dry fields but happen to be partly flooded?
