Ballymac
dont know where it is but i would be about half a hours drive from there, are you thinking of leaseing it Wouldnt mind if i was closer too it. Although might go for a shot on it. If you google it you will get it apparently the entrance is just on the road side on the A54 Edited November 13, 2009 by Ballymac

mayfly36
i too may be up for that one. Even though ballymac started this enquiry, i will make a few calls tomorrow to see if the tender is still up for bidding or when it will be available again, it might be gone as the document is dated january 2009. mayfly36
OK, as i thought the area off Moneystaghan was tendered last year and therefore will not be advertised again until 2019. I will be getting the 2010 tender list sent to me when it becomes available in january
Ballymac
I would be interested in getting an area leased out. OK, as i thought the area off Moneystaghan was tendered last year and therefore will not be advertised again until 2019. I will be getting the 2010 tender list sent to me when it becomes available in january Did you mean 2019 as the leases are 5 yr leases? mayfly36
2019 Yes, The licence is for a period of 5 years with an option to renew for a further 5 years at an agreed licence fee if both parties are content. So this license has been agreed for 10 years.

Ballymac
any other link or more info can't get that website to open and have googled it with no success Got it to work. Probably something similar to nppc only on a smaller scale. You should contact them to see if any of the land you shot over is on there. Ballymac
if you look on the Talk from The Field section there is a thread about PX farm syndicate. I would guess that this pigshootin ni will be something similar. You have to book 3 days in advance. How will you know if pigeons are on the field in question etc. As a good days shooting here can range from 10 - 110 birds. I wonder how they are going to price it. I would suggest that the majority of good pigeon pulling fields are shot over by someone. Someone on here might have details or get some but I guess the price will put a lot of people off. Although I know a few farmers who would be interested in getting paid to allow people to shoot pigeons/crows while some farmers do not want strangers on their ground. Has anyone on here thought of offering a free vermin control service advertising locally in papers farmers mart etc.
