NV Help

Could any one recommend anywhere to get either a infa red illuminator or a filter (lens) that i could put on either a logun lamp/tracer compact lamp or hand held to be used in conjunction with a Yukon NV Tracker 2.5x42 monucular NV that I have. Its a good little hand held unit for spotting the bunnies but has limited distance as being only a Gen 1 (All I Could Afford) and I have read that extra IR Ilumination will help. I have been searching the net now for a couple of weeks but still none the wiser to be honest, so if any one could help it would be most appreciated. Just to let you know it is being used in conjunction with a Logun S16 12ftb (A lovely rifle despite what some might say)

Thanks

Jason

Gen 1 gear is ok IF you have additional illumination, (found in practice that the hth stuff etc aint really up to it?) so you do unfortunatley have to spend a bit to get it? I use a pro max with an IR filter very effective but not sure how they justify £20 quid for a filter alone ie a bit of plastic after all.

cheers KW

i tried a mini mag with an IR filter strapped to NV monocular , worked close range , but very weak .

i now use a Deben mini pro with a ( proper quality ) IR filter , and its brill , cost about £20 for filter , which is worth it if you,ve already got the lamp i suppose .

i got mine from Rob Lane , he can cut filter to any size you require and its top stuff .

Darren .
