foxnet22 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Share Posted October 24, 2009 first as a new member would like to say hello .after a five month wait just recieved my cetificate today christmas come early for me and im buzzing.anyhow after a lot of thought decided on buying a escort magnum just to get started with and learn the game.will be using it for pigeon,crows and also would like to try it on clays.unsure on barrel length so any info from members on the pros and cons of this gun would be great thanks. As for the Hatsan, you'll get a lot of people on here slating them and saying to go for a well-established make. Just go with what is right for your budget and needs to start with. A 26 or 28" barrel length would be okay! Just make sure that it is cleaned appropriately and it should take what ever you put through it. Oh and some people on the clay shoots don't warm to semi autos too well. Just demonstrate your safety and they will see you are responsible. I brought a L/H 28" Hatsan Escort Synthetic, bit rough n ready, but has not missed a beat, cleaned regularly. Cost £329 with 3-Years warranty, thought I cannot go wrong really.
