steve0146
Just been out watching our local estuary ( south devon ) and surprised at the low number of wildfowl moving. The odd group of duck and about 80 canada's way out in the middle but thats about it. We need some cold weather quickly. Anybody having much luck lately? rossandjet
I have about 50 or 60 wild Mallard and Teal coming in to my fed flight pond. It's very hight up on the Pennines so I don't want the freezing weather as it soon ices over. I have shot about 30 this year in four evening flights, so not too bad. scolopax
Humber very very quiet, only saw about a dozen wigeon and a single teal on evening flight tonight. I would guess they have all flown 20 miles to the derwent ings and hundreds of acres of flooded grassland.

flytie
Here in deepest Worcestershire we have widgeon and teal on our flooded grassland. Numbers comparable with normal/other years. ft
rjimmer
I think most of our wigeon have gone inland to the flooded meadows. I went out last night and only had 1 with the decoys.
