Dekers
semi on indoor range 25 mtrs probley on iron sightsbolt action out door range up to 100 mtrs with scope and pest control if i can get some permission thanks I'm still not sure how you intend to split the calibres for the different shooting you list, especially as you ask the question ".22 rimfire which one" so this response is based on .22lr!! Nobody uses a semi for serious range work, so I take it this is a small friendly "fun" club. If you intend outdoor shooting with a bolt up to 100 yards you can use anything you like for a bit of fun, but forget everything you have mentioned if you want to get a bit serious and start saving a lot of money! You will not get anything for "pest control" unless you have the need (land, pest problems, permission). I would have thought a chat with those at the club, and your FEO, would be the best way forward as they know your situation far better than anyone here!!
minghis
I'd always recommend the Sako Finnfire P94S if you're looking for a bolt action .22lr for vermin control. Top quality, reliable and accurate. I believe they're not made anymore so a good used one should not be too difficult to find.
Magus69
Hi Terence I take it from your location that you probably shoot at Paul Lane especially as you mention 100mtr outdoor range. If so make yourself known to Dot behind the bar and ask to be pointed in the direction of Mick the flyfishing, Deerstalking,Pigeon shooting, Wildfowler, and we can then sort you out to try various rifles of various calibres, and be in a better position to make the decision on which is best for you. I will be at the club tomorrow (mon) and wednesday evenings. If you don't shoot at Paul Lane then my suggestion is a bolt action CZ/BRNO 452 for .22lr,.223 rem,and .308 win,.These are all designated target rounds and as such they probably won't be refused, they are also very good calibres for vermin .22lr,fox and smaller deer .223rem,and larger deer .308win,.You could also do a one for one variation if you fancied changing to something more specialised later.
