poontang
And 80 of them were at Three Acres. Was that an 80 birder? Age is a funny old thing.............looks like it's not just the eyesight and the bladder that's gone (Mind you i think i'd lost the will to live after 50 birds at that one.) Well i've just been to stock up on cartridges for this shindig. I've got 'em all, and covered all eventualities, 6's 7.5's 8's 9's blue, white, red, clear, low brass, high brass, in-between brass, blanks, steel, lead, blackpowder, tracer, i even got some Hevishot for those pesky Teal Can't wait. MC
Is it the same cafe then? If not can we have have a postcode and a time for a pre shoot nosh up. There isn't another one in the area apart from a late night kebab shop. You are welcome to come to mine for bacon rolls but it is about another 30minutes further on. If it's the same cafe, we'll have to get Jimmy the Greek in early to get the sausages on It'll be nice to see his happy beaming welcoming smile again

MC
Depends which way you come, I guess the nearest is at boreham on the A12 or the one at Galleys corner roundabout in Braintree. Either one is not very near to be honest. Halstead is a bit like Eastbourne, old people go there to die and then forget what they went for. It is OK if you want a charity shop or cheap socks off the market but ****** all use for anything else.
Mungler
Maccy D's on the A12 and then convoy there? Good call. That greesy spoon wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the 4 weeks old cooking oil. I can smell and taste the stale oil as I type. HHHHmmmmmmm greasy bisto
MC
How do you get from the A12 to halstead? Is there a more direct route than going through Braintree?
Mungler
Go further down the A12 from the A12/Boreham (Leech & Sons) turn off and then take the Witham (I think) exit - it's all griefy, round abouts, lanes and traffic and still a good 30 mins from there. MC
Thats what I thought, I will stick to a bacon roll and tes at home and meet you there. It is only 40 mins from my house, it will take me longer than that to get to Maccas on the A12. See you there about 8.
Mungler
So then, meet up at MC's for free brekkie? Best get the bacon, I mean whole pig in. Don't forget the hash browns. Oh, and to change your deep fat fryer cooking oil before we get there.
