Cartridges in low quantities

Will shops sell you a couple of boxes or is it by the 100 minimum?

 

Just asking on here so I don't look like a numpty asking for a couple of boxes instead of a 1000

they will sell them no problem,

 

I picked a couple up this morning ok they were 4's so a little different but certainly no strange looks.

Cheers pal. You just never see them by the box of 25. I expect to pay a little more per cartridge buying in low quantities. It just stings less in the short term

You can buy them a box at a time no problem. Never seen a shop complain.

some carts are sold in boxes if tens as per the continent I bought 10 hevi shot only £400 or something!

its no problem to buy a single box of 25, but the lower the quantity the higher the price per shell in most shops.

In Scats you get a weird look if you want to anything over 25 cartridges

When I was a young lad in the 1950s, when money was tight, our sports-shop would sell you shells by the handful. Later, we all applauded when Azot (Baikal) and Sellior and Bellot shells were sold in boxes of 10, for the equivalent of 26 pence.

never had a problem buying just a single box.....particularly when trying a new cart. In fact my local RFD writes the cost per box on the slabs, which are visible through the locked cages in the shop.

(Here we go again, FC's nostalgia!) When I was a kid the shopkeeper would ask why I needed two boxes! I remember that sunny day in 1962; a box of Grand Prix No. 3 and a box of Yellow Wizard No. 4. Those crows took a pounding!

I remember walking to the local cycle shop "Snuffies" and buying .22 airgun pellets loose. I think they were 5p for 20.

 

You could buy Eley Grand prix seperately as well.
