al4x
hope its ok, I'd reserve judgement as its been used by a crane hire company so no doubt will have been used for heavy duty towing which is fine but does give a fair amount of wear to the expensive bits. if it wa cheap though just drive it till it breaks
pegleg31
it's costing me £700.needs a little bit of weiding on the cills, chasis is good. it's been used as a security vehicle on the demolition site.it already has a mesh bulk head in as they have an alsation and a rotty. as for it being white .i was thinking about getting some camo vinyl and getting my mate to cover it? Hope you had a good poke about around the B pillar where the inner wing joins and seatbelt mounts they are beggars for rust in that area. Engines are pretty near bombproof if regularly serviced. the sticky on camo is available at Targetsports but it might be cheaper if you have a compressor going with matt paint from Anchor Supplies
al4x
the sills aren't actually an MOT failure if they are holed as it has a separate chasis, what you need to check very well are as said the seat belt mounts and chasis mounting points. Having had a couple I wouldn't buy one with tin worm again as once its set in in fourtraks it seems to be pretty widespread. Can you lift the carpet in the back and see daylight yet? pegleg31
i'm going over with a mechanic this weekend.if it's full of rot i won't be bringing it back, but the bloke ensures me it's only on the cills
