Hi everyone,

I've just joined this forum recently and want to get mainly into clay shooting with maybe the odd bit of rough/decoying. I'm based in west norfolk and have already located a few clay grounds nearby.

I've had my certificate and cabinet since 2001 but at present only own a S/B webley and scott 410, i've also been into airguns since 1996 and own a BSA meteor, supersport and airarms s410 TDR.

Back then I intended to get a 686 and start clays shooting but the ground I intended to join closed down and never reopened after foot and mouth hit the country.

So anyway now i'm back, itching to go and want to make a proper start. I'm still set on a beretta 686E, and am open to S/H or new options. I'm slightly annoyed I didnt buy new a few months back as prices seem to be rising still. I take it thats down to the Euro?

I'm basically after some advice like what to look out for when buying S/H (I'd probably only go for a mint condition one) and what options for buying new?

I have the money for new but have thought about spreading the cost through finance, or even applying for a 12 month 0% purchase credit card, paying on that and then cutting it up.

Looking forward to some advice

Adam
