Guest georgehare
does anywhere know where i can get a realtree coat from but not pay loads like they are in all the mags ? I want one with a half decent lining, not just a rain coat, but i dont want to have to pay hundreds for a DeerHunter one as ive spent alot on coats recently. Paul in North Lincs.
Beware of real tree coats on EBay.......I got properly shafted for 40 note this times last year!!! The disription was very cleverly worded....... but between the lines the seller neglected to tell me that the coat didnt even have a zip...........only press studs. The jacket is now providing a great winter retreat for the spiders in my pigeon loft.!! Im not saying that this is always the case but you do need to be aware.......pm for further details Edited December 15, 2005 by Paul in North Lincs. Ferret Master
You didn't buy one of those Stearn jackets did you Paul ? I've seen them up close. What a pile of **** Jonno Hi, My Dad bought me a Stearn jacket of Ebay.( Nice thought but not the sort of rhing i needed) For a start he got me a Wildfowling camo that would be to lighter colour for the land I shoot on but like paul said it only has press studs and because it was a pvc it rustled far too much to stalk anything in. lord_seagrave
:*) I'm glad it wasn't just me! I too have a zipless PVC jacket from Ebay (Camo-supply or something?) that is taking up room in the bottom of the wardrobe. I haven't even taken the tags off! Not only does it rustle, the press studs rattle and it reeks to high heaven of plastic. Twenty notes and absolutely useless. Won't make that mistake again.
