Guest Mr Pieman
Hi all, I've put up two pictures of my new EELL. Quality is a bit iffy though, the engraving isn't as clear as I'd have liked  However, it still looks pretty! PP

dunganick
tastey range finder how do you find it, i had a play with one a few months back, very nice. up to usual swaro quality, and the actual monocular was about 5x as good optically as my dads lieca. however rather disapointingly it died, the battery stoped working in the cold weather (about 0 deg) nice gun as well. shawn9914
Quality is a bit iffy though, the engraving isn't as clear as I'd have liked hi pieman, if the quality is a bit iffy and the engraving is not clear i would take it back to the shop and ask them to change it for a better one   only joking mate thats a very nice gun indeed cheers shawn
Dunkield
Looks lovely Pieman, I would worry about bashing a gun as nice as that. My 'lottery winning' shotgun would be a Beretta SO with some nice engraving, amongst others! 32" tubes are pretty long, are you big geezer? Guest Mr Pieman
I'm a healthy 6ft 3" and 18 stone so the balance of the longer barrels seem to suit me very well Nick, the battery has no bearing on the rangefinder!! That's like saying an Aston Martin is **** if it gets a flat tyre!! The secret to batteries is stability of temperature (portable appliances anyway). Always keep the rangefinder in a breast pocket or around your neck. That way, your body temperature keeps the battery warm and happy. It takes a while for the battery temp to drop, so normal use shouldn't allow too rapid cooling - unless you have hands as cold as my brothers ex wife!!!  PP

Frank
Thats not cheap and what a great looking gun it is too. The best of luck with it mate, i think you will have great fun with it. How do you find the range finder so far? Guest Mr Pieman
The rangefinder is spot-on. Very accurate and works well in poor light too. Same quality of glass as their binoculars. I've no doubt it will prove a very useful 'gift'. Lady P will be getting flowers for months!!!  B) B) Cheers PP

white fox
Lovely scanned picture, you must be well chuffed. I recon we should have a little new year photo comp to see who has got the best engravings. You know - one of those 'you show me yours and I'll show you mine' jobbies. Anyone up for it, even humble boxlocks. WF
