luvbus
I understand there is a Sunday ban in some Counties but where there is no ban, is shooting on Sunday still frowned upon? Rich
MC
Nope, Most of my wildfowling is done on a sunday. If people want to go to church then fine, I have no problem with that. I like to go shooting on a sunday.

luvbus
Thanks for that. Looks like I will have to work on getting a pass for the Sunday evening/Monday morning flights! Rich
Highlander
Wildfowling was/is a traditional Sunday sport which is why when the quarry lists and days when they could be shot were debated it was left to local authorities/counties to decide if they would allow Sunday wildfowling. i.e. Norfolk NO wildfowling on a Sunday, Suffolk, fill yer boots! ziplex
We can't shoot in Somerset on a Sunday which leaves just Saturday once the nights draw in, unless you take a days holiday that is. BASC have been looking to get the ban lifted for us but it's been dragging on for years without success. I'd like to shoot on a Sunday and would if I could.
