Evil Elvis
Heheheheh....not exactly what you were expecting lol. We went on one of Raja's permissions last night for a little sniff round, there were rabbits everywhere but not many reds.We walked for miles and then noticed a pair of eyes slinking along a hedge, it took some convincing to come to the squeek but did evenatually walk out into the stubble and lay down, Raja could only see head and neck but made no mistakes and the 58gr remmie vboat made an instant dispatch.....( i wont be showing the other side of the fox).Cracking shot 125 yards! The first of many for Raja's new .243 no doubt, well done dude. DUDE!!! you were right, that is ONE DODGY picture lol. Raja Clavata
Excuse moi - what's with the pluralisation of the scar? - it's a single scar from a single incident AND for the benefit of those that appear to "test the depth of water with both feet" - the incident did not involve a fight or anything illegal With regards to the shot, I was quite pleased with it; not too much to aim at and nearly double the distance I've shot sitting down off the long bipod from previously For me that's the great advantage of scopes like S&B when lamping, straight onto the target, identify as legit species quickly and bang, job jobbed

Raja Clavata
Thank-you Zapp. Ha ha - I'm no soap dodger but I do swerve a shave for as long as I can (get's right up some people's nose at work) plus I am "sporting" a bit of a tan at present. Other than that my only other mitigation is originating from Africa Know what you mean about filters - red's good for penetrating bushes (which is naff all use unless you can cajole whatever is in there out anyway) - we do seem to get a lot of instant runners on plain white light though. I did quickly ID a black feline under the red lamp at ~150yds last night looking through the scope; it's not so easy when they's moggies though. Frenchieboy
Raja mate ignore everything they say about the flat cap. If yours made you look as silly as mine does then you would have something to worry about! Got to admit that I do like the "big butch manly look" on your face! He, he, he, he. All juking asides, what a great way to christen the new rifle, good shooting mate with what looks like a great bit of kit!
